Loading times are abominable. In all facets. It takes two minutes just to load the opening logos, more to load menus or games. Three or four to load any cutscenes. Why? How much data is this loading? Is DRM responsible?

 

Also: started my first MP match, and after dealing with obscene amounts of black-screen loading, when I finally got in it wasn't responding to controls AT ALL (no movement, and no menu) and I had to crash out. Game was still running (could hear players over mic) but they were LONG gone and had moved way ahead (didn't bother to wait for my broken game to catch up).

 

And of course, because I crashed out, now I have to go through ten-to-fifteen minutes of loading again.

EDIT2: Seems like some form of front-loading may be responsible, and second start booted up much faster (only about 30sec).

I can't imagine why you'd be seeing that. Definitely isn't the DRM. Your specs are fine, from what I can tell.

 

I'm running it from an SSD (so lol, obviously) and it loads very quickly, but my wife is running it on a standard HD and it's not much slower.

Which versions are you using? Retail or digital? Deluxe or standard? Because now I wonder if it has something to do with other DLC or components that are installed alongside.
