I had a bug when interacting with Stroud. Hawke was fine, but if Stroud was in the conversation? No reply options for me at all.

I had to skip through the conversation (I have an xbox 360) and when it got to the final scene with Hawke and Stroud? No sound, animation behaved weirdly and the only choice I got to make was at the very end before escaping the Fade.

I recently found a picture in BW forums but I forgot who posted it, I think this can solve 30fps cap

Warning: Use it your own risk, this is not my experience- and all credits goes to original owner.

The only problem with that fix is if you were to try to play multiplayer, it will cause some serious issues like the freezing of characters or delay in the start.

^That might cause issues in other areas, I believe.

Also, the 30fps cap is causing problems and should be fixed in a patch by Bio, not by us via altering the launch exe.

Starting to really notice those bad monster/npc spwams as well. Had pack of templars spwam right in middle of my party just after finishing fight with similar group, they just droped form air. And its funny how on some spots npc packs respwam just as you make 3 steps.

Not sure if has been said at all and it's not really a bug so to say, But would love that when you "loot" a chest that the it actually opens and stays that way ( like how the chest work in say Dark Souls 2 for example )so when you view it from a distance you can visually see that you have already been there and looted it. Not think, " Hey, there's a chest over there," then wonder if you have already been there, run over to find that you have, Does get a little tedious after a while.

(EDIT: spelling mistake)

If you go back 2-3 pages in that thread, one of the members has a pm from Mark Darrah.  Talks about multiple patches.

Has the absurd range of Chain Lightning (Friendly Fire) already been mentioned? Hitting you like 50 yards away from the primary target. The spell is essentially useless with FF turned on.

Your running out of dedicated VRAM on your graphics card most likely. It shouldnt be a problem since the game should just use your shared system memory to store texture and such. But no. Thats why its "recommended" to have a gfx card with atleast 2 gigs of vram. Try running the game with all on ultra and the texture setting on low and watch all the sudden fps drops go away.

I'll try that, but I don't think it'll work. I have an XFX 7950, it's 3gb. It doesn't have an issue with any other games on ultra. It does it when everything is on low as well still. That's what's confusing me, it certainly shouldn't happen for that.

Still, until some of the sites do analysis on how the textures are loaded into vram, it's worth it to test out the different settings.

Adding a mole is clearly the most important thing on this list.

Many users have reported issues with Vram, so must be a widespread issue.

I think the bulk of those issues are being filed in the Answer HQ Technical Support section.  I'm curious to jump in and see if they are the same kind of issues that plagued BF4's launch, but I want to wait until I actually start playing so I have a good frame of reference.

Hi guys,

Havent read through all these posts but I have been consistently crashing to desktop at redcliffe. Noted that it was a mesh loading issue. This happens both with mantle or DX11. If I decrease mesh to medium I no longer crash. So far only specific to redcliffe. Other areas can do ultra mesh with no crash.

Just FYI for users and also hopefully gets to bioware. System spec below. Thanks!

Windows 7 64 bit Pro

i7 4770k

R9 290 4-way crossfire

Asus VI Extreme

16 GB 2200 MHZ ram

Eyefinity 5760 x 1080

Birds that are sitting are bugged and often sit in the air as if there was an invisible object underneath. Mostly seen in the Coast.

One or two caves in the coast make the teammates AI go nuts. For example, if you go into one cave, the allies will not enter it after you but instead run away somewhere and try and run into some random wall.
Then when you're inside and there's a gap in the wall they wont go in it either but instead try and squeeze into a weird unaccessible gap somewhere else.

I ask you this - did you have NO testers? Nobody at Bioware actually finished the game ? Nobody went into this exact cave at Bioware and noticed this? How could you not? This is your game... I can't believe this.

New DirectX error- first time I've seen this one.

DirectX function "GetDeviceRemoved Reason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is a design-time issue and should be investigated and fixed."). GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760, Driver: 34475

I too think this is an amazing game in the making. Most of the things I've come across have been covered.

Just 1 thing I can add at the moment. More of a request than a major problem.

I would like to see a hide mouse pointer option for when playing with a controller. Minor quip of course but....

Thanks.

That is the exact same error I got with that exact same GPU last year for BF4.

My solution was setting the GPU's overclock back to default.

I had all previous issues prior to using that 60fps cutscene command line, and it's been kind of endorsed by BW (just not for MP).

To be honest, that's been the single best improvement to my DA:I experience (the command line 60fps), now every cutscene is magnificent in glorious 1080/60...you just have to make sure your settings are allowing for constant 60fps, as dips will cause worse stuttering than the 30fps capped scenes.

I found dropping AA to low (post processing, MSAA off) kept it above 60fps for me on High/Ultra and that's only using a 7970 Ghz :)

Good to know.

What specific settings are you adjusting to allow for it?  I'm guessing turning of V-sync?

After getting my two new companions (the bald elf and a dwarf), my game was stuck in eternal saving mode (I could play, but I could not Load/Save games or quit the client, so I had to terminate the process).
