Hopefully BioWare will listen to this, I understand hair was difficult to do in Frostbite 3, but I'd pay for more hairstyles, as well as an option to change them later on.

 

For example, even Dorian's hair in the character creator. Going to a salon in Val Royeaux.

anyone else experiencing slow movements by their characters? I've tried everything I could think of that might help speed up their movements (thinking it might be something on my end) but it's just painful watching these guys take forever to move.

 

I mean, the movements weren't always fast to begin with, but right now it's even more sluggish then before.

Bugs that I've experienced so far:

 

Crashing during long cutscenes (basically any that last longer than 5 minutes, or ones that cause you to load into several areas before continuing)

Crashing when not choosing a conversation option quickly enough (pretty random, just sometimes I wait to choose because someone irl is talking to me and there's no pause so I wait at the convo wheel)

DirectX errors and Nvidia driver errors (I can never see the direct x error and the nvidia one just says the display driver stopped responding - I have reinstalled the driver and the game without this being fixed, though it seems more stable in fullscreen than in fullscreen windowed or windowed)

Conversation options not showing any information due to cursor not being recognized I think..  this tends to happen when I take screenshots a lot, the conversation wheel requires me to use numbers because I can't click.  Alt-tabbing out seems to fix this most of the time

Sound being cut off for a moment prior to a cut scene loading after an area loading screen

Not being able to see items when I use search because the pale outline is impossible to see outside of darker areas

Companion banter not happening while out exploring

Companions/Advisors randomly disappearing at Skyhold from wherever they normally stand so that I can't interact with them until I get out of whatever building/area it is and come back

 

 

that's.. all I can think of right now, if I said anything that's already been mentioned, I'm sorry x.x  just trying to think of everything I've encountered so far

Honestly, I don't think I want the forced option of unlocking cutscenes from 30fps limit. Yes, I know it causes some people lag in their cutscenes, but when I used the code line to remove the limit so it could reach 60fps, my game lagged so badly it felt like I was watching a slow motion scene in an action movie.

I encountered a bug with the "From the Beyond" quest in the Exalted Plains area. I completed the task for the quest, and returned to Keeper Hawen to turn it in. I chose the dialogue option to complete the quest, but immediately afterwards the keeper walked out of range and ended the conversation. When I talked to him again, the dialogue option was no longer there, but the quest is not complete and is still telling me to talk to the keeper. There is no way for me to complete this quest now.

 

EDIT:

 

I should reiterate, the keeper walking away is an annoyance to be sure, but the real bug is the fact that the quest can not be turned in now.

 

The list in the OP only lists this as "The keeper walks away during convo", which is the less important part of the problem.

 

To make matters worse, that quest is necessary to gain enough Dalish favor to get the Dalish agent.

I have Inquisition's texture quality set to 'Fade Touched' but all of a sudden I can no longer see my Spirit Blade (Knight Enchanter Specialization)

 

When I turned my texture quality down to low it reappeared.

 

Graphics cards: 2x GTX 980 SLI (was running on one when it happened)

One: Avg is 58-59

Two: Avg is 60 (I think I have it set to force V-sync on the control panel, so it didn't change)

Yes, I've experienced the same. This looong cutscene with travel to Skyhold crashed on me about 4 times, once almost at the end :crying: , so I had to skip the dialogue to shorten the whole thing. I've noticed, that if I play for some time and than initiate random cutscene, game often crashes, so I have to load the game again and play cutscene first to avoid crash.

Also had several crashes on War table, when for several minutes I was looking at quest markers ans reading descriptions.

 

A bug or glitch : in Skyhold during conversation with NPC on the battlements, a soldier was walking behind my Inquisitor back. Suddenly he moved across the screen to a spot he couldn't reach becouse of my Quizie blocking his path and his whole head inside his helmet just shrinked. He looked like a mummy :huh: Then he turned around and zapped to a different spot and his face turned normal again ...

I'm just going in slow motion regardless of graphics settings unless I reduce the Resolution Scale in graphics to about 60, even then it will start slowing down gradually the longer I play.

Guys, I need your help in troubleshooting some weird camera hitching that I've recently been experiencing on the PC version and that is driving me quite mad. First of all, though, my specs:

 

Intel Core i5-3570K @ 4.4 GHz

8 GB DDR3 2133 MHz

MSI GTX 780 Twin Frozr Gaming Edition

Samsung 830 128 GB

BenQ XL2420T 120 Hz

 

And my user.cfg:

WorldRender.MotionBlurQuality 0

My graphical settings are all on High, except:

 

- Tesselation: Off

- Mesh Quality: Medium

- Shadow Quality: Medium

- Ambient Occlusion: HBAO

- Multisample Antialiasing: Off

 

I'm now over 10 hours into the game, currently doing the "In Hushed Whispers" main quest, and have started noticing really weird hitching when simply panning the camera around, with the console-enabled framerate counter still showing a constant 60 FPS! This happens not only in the Hinterlands, but also in Haven, which used to be super smooth at the start of the game.

 

One particular area in the Hinterlands where this is most obvious is near Dennet's farm. Just yesterday I used the Looking Skull above his farm to look for Shards in the area and although the console framerate counter did not budge from 60 FPS, the camera hitched horrendously while looking across that area!

 

I've disabled Origin in-game, set up the cutscene stutter fix (-GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 - GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+), tried disabling SweetFX (no success, makes no difference), tried unparking my cores (no performance difference with them parked or unparked via the registry, with reboots in between, of course), measured my DPC latency (50-100 μs), tried Borderless Windowed (no difference in performance), uninstalled Nvidia Geforce Experience and also set Maximum Pre-rendered Frames to 1 in Nvidia Inspector (still no difference).

 

I'm genuinely at loss as to what might cause the camera to be jerky like this and not as a consequence of framerate fluctuations. Did anyone else encounter such problems, or is it just me?  :(

Posted this in another thread in the help section, but my game seems to be glitched out.  I first noticed it when I completed the quest to fetch healing herbs for the healer in Redcliffe Village.  I already had the herbs to give to her, so I completed the quest there.  Unfortunately, I didn't receive any rewards.  Can someone inform me what the rewards for those two quests are supposed to be?  After that, I went and returned a phylactery to Ellandra.  She said she gave me something, but the game never showed me what it was.  Now, also the codexes I pick up are not appearing in a window on the screen, but instead I have to go in and read them manually through the radial menu.  And, it may be a coincidence, but I've killed three or four enemies in a row without any type of loot drops.  I went back to a previously created save to see what that will do, but I did kill an enemy and yet again, no loot drop.  Not sure if the game is still glitched.  Has anyone else had their codexes stop showing up when they obtain them--and have they had enemies just suddenly stop dropping loot?  Thanks in advance.

It adds an extra SLOT, meaning you can equip three types of alchemical products instead of 2. It doesn't increase the number of flasks of each type you can carry.

Should add on top of: Campaign Specific, Multiplayer, Gamebreaking and Community Opinions their is now a portion called PC Control Scheme which has to do with anything control wise/tac came wise.

So far in the game I have not had many glitches, however I had a major one when I last played.

**SPOILER

When my character met Hawke, her voice changed from the higher female voice to the lower one, and stayed like that even when I went into another conversation with another character. I restarted and tried again, and the same thing happened. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but hopefully it will be fixed.
