Just added the point about being able to change our hairstyle while already playing the game, so that a full game restart isn't needed!

Should also add I just crashed twice with no error codes.

Both were after about 10 minutes of gameplay. Game is completely unplayable for me right now.

You really should add the gender issue on there, I have had it from the start and really wish I had restarted my character when I first noticed now instead of thinking they would fix it quickly. 43 hours in now so can't really quit(Though admittedly not that far in-game, I love exploring)

(Although a known bug, I am still waiting on a fix since it was reported on Tuesday, which I admit is not a lot of time but looking at/used to Warframe speed of fixing things this just feels WAY too long)

The issue:

NPCs and (parts of) the game itself thinks I am a female rogue, while in reality I am a male warrior. My armor and weapon restrictions and first 4 skilltrees are correct, however now that I got my specialty quests started I really doubt they are for warrior but are instead for rogue listening to their explanations of what is to come.(Looking at the Imgur posted class specialization charts, definitely rogue specialization quests)

Now I am at the point where I consider quitting the game (temporarily)  because the whole game is effectively broken for me, romances and voices were weird and definitely annoying but nothing I couldn't deal with. But now that it actually starts having a huge impact on my gameplay it kinda kills the game for me. I just wish they would fix this already...

And no, starting over really is not something I want to do, as I said I am 43 hours in on this (fe)male warogue and don't want to throw that all out of the window. And since we also can't transfer items from character to character I would be seriously throwing it out of the window since the items I have are pretty great.(And re-exploration is really not appealing to get similar items back)

*rage intensifies*

That would be quite annoying. Just added it to the list, thank you :)

Crushing disapointment!

Controls and UI make the game almost unplayable:

Cursor too small keep losing it during combat.

Bad camera angles got into fight where all I could see were trees.

Random freezes and crashes.

Tactical cam also freaks out over ANY sort of terrain change. I mean like every time you're in a cave it BLOWS. Everytime it goes over it rock it zooms WAY in. And everytime I select a character in zooms in on the character. And don't even get me started on tactical cam getting stuck on ****** terrain features. Are you ****** kidding me? My ****** camera gets stuck on a cliff? Everytime I use tactial cam I just have to assume that it's some invisible dwarf that I'm controlling and he's tripping on terrain features and ****** everything up. Turn that **** off, it's terrible. Baldur's gate had it right 20 years ago. Just leave it alone. This game was supposed to be optimized for PC. What happened to that? The guys at bioware can't possibly think this is GOOD can they?

Sometimes I can't even target enemies on cliffs because the cliff is higher than tactical cam. WHAT THE, WHAT!?

You can add anything to your list here.

First of all, I do have updated graphic cards.

1.(Happens Random) First I get this bug I can't switch characters if I recently switched. Auto save doesn't save??????

2.Mini Map sucks!!!!!! Worst design ever. You have no way of knowing if you're going north, East, West, South etc!! Dragon age origins and 2 had better mini map. Why is it transparent??? Navigation is very important!

3.Looting system really bad... no auto loot keybind to loot all??? why didn't they implement that? Map- looks good and all except you don't know if you cleared that cave or not? Have a system that says something " cleared " or something????

4.Search button default ( V ) kind of sucks to be honest! B/c it makes a noise if there is a item near by... You don't know where the Hell it is at b/c the color of the item can be hard to track. Also It selects stupid Signs as items.... NO NO bad idea!!!

5. Mouse keybinds Please give us mouse keybinds, we are gamers, we don't like using 6-9 buttons, it's not comfortable and no one likes dragging their mouse to click abilities it is no fun.

6. Items that you loot, like for example " a gem of some sort " early in game you don't know if it's important or just junk to sell? Please have items labeled as Junk or some sort of importance.  Also Sell all button when you're at a merchant should sell only Junk and not all your quest items that are related to the game.

7. Zoom out camera needs to be MORE zoomed out.... Fixed camera not good in some situations. we would like to see what we're up against.

8. Bring Back tactical combat options!!! YES it does have some but it looks like it's SOOOOO INCOMPLETE!!! I want my character to do this ... if xxx this happens. I want my tank to taunt if someone aggros! ETC!!!! Tactical options were fun and controlling! Now ... it's limited to none!!!!! Bring it back!

I probably have a lot more to add I listed some of the things that are just so annoying!

Poor AI on following NPCs

Collision detection on friendlies (causing them to block doorways a la Lydia)

No object fade means you get screenfuls of trees all the time.

Single player bugs:
- Stuck in Crestwood (as in the world map isn't showing up/there's no way to get to it)
- When turning around corners my companions tend to get stuck in weird places and don't teleport out or follow me
- Sometimes right clicking on someone to talk to them doesn't work at all or just takes forever to actually do anything

BUG: REVIVE during Tactical Camera. If you command a companion to revive a character then take off tactical and goes to normal mode to take control of your own character, the companion ignore that order and keeps attaking the enemy.

EXAMPLE: im using SOLAS, i enter TACTICAL CAMERA, command VARRIC to revive CASSANDRA, take off tactical, take control of SOLAS, then VARRIC ignore the order "revive" and keeps attaking the enemy.

3 times I've experienced Cole getting stuck in rocks, hearing a grunt and seeing his HP drop to 50%. No enemies in sight.

Biggest bug for me: right clicking the mouse for camera will sometimes cause the camera to jump to the sky or ground or in any random direction it sees fit. Releasing sometimes makes the pointer auto-center to the middle of the screen instead of where it was originally clicked.

I tend to notice it because I do small camera clicks instead of holding it down forever; sometimes I'll be running in a straight line and as I right-click, my camera decides to whirl itself to the sky. *sigh* Fighting becomes difficult.

Also, I'd like to say that 'more hairstyle options' and other non-PC specific things in the list should not be there, it is a bug list after all. There can always be another list for that kind of stuff, but unless it's truly gameplay breaking and specific to PC, the bug issues are what we should be fixing now!

tldr; camera controls like to bug out, it's not very fun. :( The bug list should try to stay relevant to PC issues.

I've created a post, but i put here also. I was in a dungeon passage in Storm Coast and it seems that the group can't follow you on step rocks or whatever this is, they stay behind and you can't move them one by one, they keep teleporting to the stock point. I already see sometimes when i'm on a mountain cube rocks that i kept being teleport to the nearest ground point on tactic camera.

-Better pathfinding on rocks so your team are not stuck and you are not teleport back to the nearest ground.

Nice initiative this post !

Great idea with this post! Hell, it should be stickied ;)

BTW. There are a lot of reports saying, that turning Origin off in the game and disabling all online options in menu stops the crashing.

Using Outcome can allow playing the game without it entirely, it seems that a lot of problems are introduced because of it's integration.

vb0b0, Good post.

Let's add a link to this post by Anso, which contains some additional line item fixes that can be added to your list.

We should keep these threads bumped and updated as much as possible during this critical bug gathering time for Bioware.

The specific items there that I don't see exactly the same as those on your list include:

- ability to re-bind controls to mouse buttons, both left/right as well as additional 4th, 5th, scroll buttons, etc.

- click-to-loot ability - similar to click to move, and is likely tied into overall design req'd for auto-attack

- remove spammable search function - basically overhaul loot/herb/etc system

- restore enemy selection circles - improve targeting in general

- face presets - pretty or ugly choices

- eyebrow color - different from hair colors

- improve companion tactics somehow - settings need better definition

- AI needs major overhaul, if tactics not possible - help eliminate constant need for micromanagement

- ability to queue actions during combat (or in Tac Cam)

- auto attack restored (or option) - click on distant target, you run to target and begin auto-attacking with no further input necessary

- revamp the health->damage system - prevent tedious traveling strictly for potion retrieval

- Edge scrolling - ability to pan Tac camera by touching the sides of screen with mouse

- ability to move forward with Right Mouse+Left Mouse - like previous games

- fix bug where holding RMB in order to activate camera jerks the view to pointer location - (this seems like it might have have far reaching implications)

- tooltips - need descriptions of spells, abilities, functions, and general info (health, mana, etc)

- Hide UI button - for screenshots

*edit - I would say the bulk of these can be added under the General, UI section on your first page.

The only issue I have is with performance. Right not the game is not running my CPU at even half capacity and my GPU doesn't get above the low 80's (i.e. 80-83%) in load. My rig can run BF4 with Ultra Settings @ 1080p no problem - on DAI I have to use Medium. Now, I accept that there is significantly more to be rendered withe the much greater depth of view than you get in a first-person shooter, so even if I had to run it on High instead of Ultra I would be perfectly happy. But when you see quite clearly that the game itself is not making use of the available hardware this is a significant problem.

To sum up:

Not all CPU cores are being used, nearly half the logical cores are at 0% load.

Of the logical cores that are being used, they are mostly under 50% load.

The GPU load hovers around 80% load.

The resulting poor framerates is all to predictable.

Specs:

i7-3930k @ 4.33Ghz (OC)

16GB RAM

GTX770 OC 4GB VRAM

Win 7 x64

That said, however, I'm loving the game and I can see what an amazing effort it has been. I don't have any buyers remorse, I just expect the correct performance out of the game which is a perfectly reasonable assumption as a customer.

If anyone requires more specific info including screencaps, reports, logging, etc, please ask.

Wow, your PC rig is waaaay better than mine... And i'm running on medium (with mesh + texture at high) too.

Intel Core i5 760 2.8GHz

Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 1 GB VRAM

12 GB ram

Windows 7 64-bit

So yeah, there's something wrong with the graphics utilization of DA:I if that's the case. WIth that rig, i think you SHOULD be able to max it out once they release some sort of GPU driver.

Kind of random and nit-picky but considering I HATE the way the camera is constantly viewed from this weirdly restrictive angle for me, I would LOVE if the camera STAYED THE WAY YOU HAD IT rather than reset whenever there's a cutscene or you talk to someone because I've had to reset it about a billion times alone in the prologue. I remember I could do the same thing in DA 2 and when I did my camera stayed where I put it and I almost never had to adjust it.

Minor, and probably unfixable at this point, but one can dream of a world where cameras don't defiantly disobey the desires of their overseers, right?
