Defeated enemies get back up (but remain completely passive and unable to interact with): http://i61.tinypic.com/fk8ygx.jpg (hard to see in a still image, but the giant is just standing idle - notice that radar is not showing anything), and noticed it on a hinterland bear as well

This was happening to me from time to time as well

Unable to load save game data. (Xbox One) Deluxe Edition.

While i feel your pain, that sounds like an xbox one problem rather that a pc problem. But i hope you get that worked out. I'd call xbox customer service.

One change I would like to see is the ability to link the "Interact" button with "Loot All" when looting.

So for example, I use a PC with mouse and keyboard:

I step next to some loot and hit the "E" button (yeah, I played Skyrim so E is just a habit).

The loot window opens.

I would expect to just hit "E" again to loot all.  Instead I need to move my mouse over and select "Loot All".

It's really a minor annoyance but maybe a minor fix as well?  Is anyone else annoyed by this?  Is there already a solution in place and I just don't know about it?  Apologies if someone already brought this up in this thread, but I didn't see it.

It likely that lots of people are monitoring this thread.  Let's give vb0b0 another nod of appreciation.  If we are lucky, those 3 incoming patches will hopefully cover the majority of whats on the front page.

Because DAI has no autoattack [/quote]

Tone= honest confusion.

What are you guys defining as "auto-attack" because if i want any of my characters to attack without my having to direct their every move, then i switch to tactical cam, tell each character who their targets are, unpause, Let her rip!

You don't think it would be nice to be able to right click a target and have your character auto-attack and lock onto that target when out of tactical mode?

When the loot window pops up, the cursor defaults to the first option, which is to loot all, and you can select it with a tap of the space bar.

I've sorta given up on tactical cameras since party members always ignore orders - i.e. if I pause, switch to Varric and order long shot then he only execute this move if I keep him focussed after unpausing; if I switch back to my character and then unpause, Varric will auto attack something... which means I might just as well directly control Varric

What a concept, right?

I mean, it's not like they had a hugely popular, Game Of The Year recipient that used this exact method of combat or anything...

If you don't mouse over anything ( which will highlight it) then "loot all" is already selected. Im not at the pc right now, but i think interact or spacebar or something selects whatever is highlighted. Im pretty sure even if i have moused over something else, i can spam spacebar and grab everything without a thought.

I'll check later.

Sooooooo many things are just hidden. Sooooo much the intro tutorial doesnt cover. Maybe if there was some sort of ui training you could do in haven to get you more familier with controls and cams and target switching. Maybe there's even an action cue and no one's found it! Very opaque.

I have not had this problem with tac cam of them not following orders, unless i pause, give an order and then switch to tac cam. And that is a problem. Cam switching sometimes erases cued commands. Let the action start before cam switching and make sure you are in tac cam before giving commands and you may see a difference. Its a totally different game that way. Action cam is for playing 1 character like your in an action game, thus no auto attack. Tac cam is where you have auto attack. 2 different playstyles in one game. Tac cam is more like the original( although its been a while)

I have been playing this game for about 40 hours now and I really want to continue playing but the white fog and texture flickerings are ruining my experience and now my game has started crashing often.. I am sick of devs releasing games for PCs without doing proper QA testing

Accidentally misclicked when Sky Watcher approached me, triggering my character to enter combat and now I can't talk to him; he's left after leave and re-entering the map

Oh, and the "locked door" icon (related to Blackwall's bear ass quest) doesn't disappear after unlocking the door.

"Landmarks in the Approach" entry is missing from the Collectibles tab of Journal.

"Landmarks in the Graves" is missing the progress bar.

I can't complete the "Mercenary Fortress" quest in the Hinterlands. Whenever I approach the Grand Forest Villa, nothing triggers.

I'm unable to claim "The Last Step" landmark in the Approach, the option to put down a flag is not showing up for me. On the map, it's showing up as a cross instead of the pyramid.

It's nearly impossible to accept the quest from Maryden (the bard), every time I enter the tavern in Skyhold/Val Royeaux, she is singing, so it's impossible to talk to her.

Many of the glitches I've encountered are already covered. I'll try not to be redundant. Pictures will aid in my descriptions for some of these.

1. Inquisition found me a chest... that I can't access... in the middle of the long river. I have no idea why this happened.

1511817_10152552687123106_76063830092265

2. Some cutscenes don't load animations. There's this hilarious goat scene that plays out when this loads improperly. One time, a scene like this ended and my PC's animations didn't load during play, causing him to slide (rather than run) and jump while frozen in that body shop position. I do not know the trigger of this issue. Apologies for not having pictures of this hilarious glitch.

10515327_10152571710358106_2181929170203

3. Unfortunately, this is another visual glitch I cannot explain, but it's pretty funny looking.

10255086_10152571710153106_4674516385461

4. This is easy to reproduce. Climb a box, a cliff, or any location not deemed a "safe zone" by the game. Enter strategy camera mode and the game will pause and simultaneously teleport you to the nearest place it deems safe. This causes any clothing physics to go bananas.

1403420_10152554473508106_68858164662826

5. Multiplying mounts. Used party member on mount and a second appeared. Attempted to simultaneously mount with PC and party member and then a third mount appeared. Attempted to reproduce the glitch again and the game crashed to desktop.

1398262_10152554544753106_86786752931496

6. PC died but is still standing. He cannot be ressurected. Only solution is to restart from last save.

10830822_10152571710183106_1016075121729

Other glitches/game issues:

  • Loot that lands on ice wall becomes inaccessible, tantalizingly floating in midair.
  • PCs upon KO sometimes sink into the ground or float in midair, becoming inaccessible. Disengage and run a good distance from the battle and they will reload closer to you.
  • Samson is easy to exploit. Run back up the stairs and defeat him from above. He will not chase you. Easy solution? Magical barrier on stairs.
  • Inner cheeks tend to glow/be very bright. We've moved from poor dental hygeine to this? Very minor issue, but distracting.
  • When fighting close range to a dragon, PC went flying 50 feet in the air and came crashing down, nearly dying from fall damage. I have no idea how this happened.
  • When in lower graphics, hair looks like a solid chunk of shiny plastic. It's so ugly that I traded it for higher graphics and lower framerate.
  • It becomes difficult/impossible to find Venatori for the rift mage mission if you choose to do it late in the campaign.
  • Why is research loot in the same section as valuables? It should have its own section or be automatically turned in. After DA2's masterful handling of valuables, it seems an illogical evolution.
  • Inventory is small, but most maps have no vendor. This creates tedium, especially when you consider the loading screen required for each area and the sheer size of the game. Easy solution? Place a vendor and weapon smith in each town. It's possible to lock them until after the town's chaos is solved, creating a sense of accomplished normalcy. Also, place a vendor in your main camp in each area. Or at least a storage case. This is just more realistic and keeps the game flowing. The main encampment is still crucial, since that's where the war table is and where you talk to your followers, so it's not going to lessen its importance. The Inquisitor should be saving the world, not constantly checking into home base to shop and upgrade weapons. (That's what the little people are there for! To help with menial tasks!)

Apologies for the huge post. I don't know how to make the images smaller. I hope it's entertaining and helpful at least.

Edit

Forgot to add:

  • While at the main base, party members either load partially or not at all. Save and reload to solve the issue.
  • Like in the second and first game, PCs tend to get stuck on objects, including dead bodies and rocks. This can become really problematic during fights.
  • "Seeing Red" mission on Storm Coast shows up way before you can access the area required, causing confusion and therefore frustration amongst players. I personally spent an hour attempting to find a path. Simply adding a "locked door" interaction to the entrance or hiding the mission until it's unlocked will solve the problem.
  • When the War Table doesn't react to clicking, use the keyboard, similarly to the conversation bug.
  • I'd like to be able to zoom in closer while in regular camera mode, especially since bushes and trees obstruct my vision.
  • Hate having to look at the default outfit whenever I'm in Haven/Skyhold. Would prefer if it were whatever was equipped.
  • Invisible helmets individually toggled would be a nice addition.
  • Lyrics lag far behind songs.
  • Finding the 40 "Hard in Hightown" copies in Skyhold is broken. You can simply exit and reenter the hold and click on the exact same copies you've already encountered. The only way to do this quest without accidentally exploiting this glitch would be to stay in Skyhold until you find every copy or perhaps to keep a paper record of which rooms you already checked.

You seem to be playing a male elf, please visit: http://forum.bioware...-its-problems/ and share your trauma with us. I commend you for durability. It looks as if they are far in the game, living with the broken-glued arms. Hero, no, Inquisitor!

I've had a story issue and I was wondering if anyone else had this same issue:

My Story World from Dragon Age Keep has my Hero of Ferelden Mage warden and Alistair stay in the Grey Wardens as lovers with Queen Anora on the throne.

Morrigan is claiming the Hero of Ferelden is alive and also her husband and on the same quest that Alistair claimed his love was on.

I just finished Here Lies the Abyss, so my head is spinning and I'm super confused. Any help/efforts to fix this by Bioware would be most appreciated.

Also, am I the only one to encounter this? It seems not many kept Alistair off the throne in their playthroughs.

Alright found a problem I didn't see listed here. Crashed to Desktop because of some DirectX error. When I came back in, my players voice had changed to one of the other voice sets. Interesting.

what if this happens late in the game?  forced to listen to the opposite of what you chose?

Bug Fix or emporium 2 I guess....

if you mention this my bad, but i didn't see anywhere you mentioning the fact that a good deal of combos are broken.  immolate, mighty blow, and whirlwind and others either do nothing, or "activate" but cause no damage.  this is gamebreaking for me, as combat is so heavily relied upon with combos.  not good enough bioware.  fix it asap.

Quick question on changing gfx settings.  Are you having to close the game and restart then play to the same spot to see if there's any difference?

Or can you just alter the setting, and go back in game to see the results?  (BF4 allows this - so DAI should)
