what if this happens late in the game?  forced to listen to the opposite of what you chose?

Bug Fix or emporium 2 I guess....

While its a relatively small thing in light of the problems I see some other people are experiencing, I've got to say it's really broken the immersion of the game for me. If I'd wanted the higher pitched weasely speaking voice my character has adopted, I'd have chosen that at the start, not the deep and resonant baritone I did pick.

Yea, there's no way I would continue playing with something like that.

My Inner Circle quests bugged out tremendously.

Solas' quests have disappeared from my journal after 150 hours of play time and completing the game.  At some point, his quests must have disappeared without my notice.  I completed all of his loyalty missions and the only one marked in my journal as complete is "Measuring the Veil" (I've checked this before and after finishing the main story).  I befriended him, and yet his tarot card has changed to the black one.  I suspect it should be the other (white) one.

Also, Leliana's inner circle quests never triggered after returning back from the chantry.  We spoke about the events there, and I discovered after finishing the game that there was supposed to be more quests with her where Dagna was involved.  At no point by loading saves prior to completing the main story was I able to trigger these quests with her.

Now I feel like 150 hours of my life has been wasted, because I will need to play this over again anyway once it's patched.  Sigh...

Is else encountering this annoying issue where for no reason at all, Blackwall loses his unique Griffin helm and his starter armor after being recruited?

I haven't touched Blackwall or his equipment at all since I recruited him; two hours later or so, his gear is mysteriously gone. He has no sword, no armor, and no helmet equipped, just his shield. I definitely haven't sold ANY of his gear. Everything he has just gets removed [and it's not in my inventory] once he gets to Haven.

This has happened three times now, on two different characters [I reloaded one].

Edit: Make this four. I reloaded again to see at what point this happens. I recruited Blackwall, and then immediately went to Haven. He has NO gear.

Edit2: This seems to occur if you recruit him and then go to Haven [whenever that is, be it 10seconds later or 3hours later] without ever having him in your party.

Quick question on changing gfx settings.  Are you having to close the game and restart then play to the same spot to see if there's any difference?

Or can you just alter the setting, and go back in game to see the results?  (BF4 allows this - so DAI should)

Bumping this.  Can anyone here playing tell me which of these is actually the case in DAI?

I have a few issues with this game too.

A: The levels are more of a showpeice than practical, it really shows that Bioware as NO idea what to do when making large maps. DAO levels were smaller but at least they had things going on.

B: The map is freaking useless, anything non-quest releated doesn't show up unless to buy it dinner, take it home and f*ck it first. Something don't ever get marked on the map (such as the shard finding skulls).

C: The search button is a chore, the old highlight system worked fine, what is BW trying to do? Give us carpal tunnel?

D: No auto attacking

E: The poor performance on Nvidia cards and SLI issues, I have a GTX 690 but my friend who have statistically worse cards than me are getting but better performance and they have Radeon cards. I mentioned my concerns about Nvidia and SLI uses getting screwed over a year ago, I guess BW didn't care.

F: This isn't fixible but I hate how Dorian and Iron Bull are basically the same character. 2 non-straight men concidered outcast by their homeland who enjoy nothing more than sexing people up, compare that to all the straight romances who are all greatly varied in comparion it's freaking annoying. Dorian and Bull are the only options for gay men too. Way to stereotype gay guys Bioware, good jorb.

Can we get this thread stickied perhaps?

It's the biggest overall list I can find, and should be visible for not only devs but new members looking to post.

I have to agree with the mouse issue - more specifically, the mouse pointer disappears from the screen and I've nearly died more than once trying to disrupt a rift!  I can also confirm the broken astarium in the Southwest Hinterlands.  And, yes, I want DARK BROWN hair not the washed out color in-game.  Finally, the DirectX freezes are more than a bit disconcerting - I also get occassional color wash (don't know how to describe it, except I get bright red/yellow showing over everything) with my Nvidia GeForce GTX 680.

Sticky please!

I take it that only forum moderators have the power to sticky something, though I can't recall the last confirmed sighting of such an entity.

• Graphic: Cassandra's body completely disappears (her armour stays, so you can see through her bits of armour) during her personal quest in and out of cutscenes.

• Enemy: Outside Emprise du Lions: A pack of wolves was attacking Michel, and then when I arrived they just all disappeared. Michel looked confused too. ;)

• Quest: Inside first settlement in Emprise du Lions: There is a small chest on a bench in a house on the left with the "examine" tag, but it's not interact-able. A woman stands close to it but does nothing and cannot be talked to. A diamond marker is still visible on the map.

• Quest: Still in Emprise du Lion: I cannot give the letter to Lynette proving her boyfriend killed her brother. She just asks to be left alone. The boyfriend laments that they could have been happy. A diamond marker is visible on the map.

• Quest: Solas' personal quest bugged. I cannot trigger the demon/spirit to wake up. Lots of dialog about dead mages, arrows and bandits - nothing else. Always travelled with Solas, have tried from different camps, different directions, removed all the collectibles to absolutely make sure I found every dead body, and restarted to no avail. I take it this quest is necessary to continue personal interaction with Solas.

Can anyone confirm this while clearing a venatori camp in the Hissing wastes the on leading down the sunstop mountains (its in like a canyon with shrubbery around) during the fight if i wanted my character to move  he displayed the correct walking action but at the speed of going up an embankment (so normal animation speed slow walk speed and he was drawn back on a slope, btw this was on flat land) only way to regain normal movement was to disengage, this affected all party members and as soon as the fight resumes it started again, I eventually disengaged until I was allowed to fast travel to a camp upon which the game crashes, started it back up and if I even dare approach that area the game crashes

** fixed by rolling back to a save where I hadn't enter the area, didn't repeat itself, still weird though **

- 'No connection to server' is the normal thing last few days. (But maybe it's off, i don't know)

- Ridiculous (circular) waypaths when sending your characters somewhere to go or to attack. (I had one character 'wring' itself between a wall and a scaffold using a wide circular movement to "Lunge and slash", taking many more seconds than i wanted. That could be a killer for your party. )
What's wrong with waypaths in straight lines? :P

That grappling chain for warriors under Battlemaster seems broken. Even if I target a different person he still wants to grapple the guy next to him. Only if I let my character move some yards towards him then he will grapple the correct person. It's a really akward skill to use.

All these quest bugs and campaign specific items are important. I really hope Bioware is keeping track of these posts.

The most important fixes for me personally are:

- ability to map to all mouse buttons

- lmb+rmb mouse navigation

Keep it bumped!

Agreed - keeping master lists of feedback seems worthwhile in a place this busy - bump!

My addition to the controls feedback:

The delay between keyboard/mouse input and the actual response of my character is one of the reasons why combat is just ruining the in world experience. When I hit "forward" or lift my mouse click to stop attacking, I'm looking for that input to be recognized now, not a second or two from now.

If the choice was made to delay movement and ability response for the sake of realism (inertia, wind-up, etc.), then I can only wonder how you conceptually force "response realism" in combat that also features over the top MMO-style special abilities.

Once the fighting starts, it's like this game doesn't know if it wants to be a gritty RPG or a cartoony MMO, then winds up taking some of the worst elements of both. The real shame of it is that some of us are now playing on casual simply to get combat over with and forgotten as quickly as possible.

So many annoying little bugs in this game.   I am getting very frequent crashed to desktop with no error code.  Also experiencing the music/ banter bug.  tried all the suggestions and got music to work in storm coast and hinterlands.  Still cant get music to play in Val Royeaux.  Characters constantly slide around or glitch through the ground or walls.  There is a weird thing during the opening where Varick's coat just floats by during the first cut scene with Solas grabbing your hand to close the rift.  Lots of little weird graphical things like that.  Really wish they had polished this game a little more.

Loving the game when it actually works.  I get that they probably wanted to get it out before Xmas but I'm still super disappointed Bioware shipped such a buggy game.   The audio bug is especially bad since companion banter and music is a HUGE part of making the world feel alive.   At this point I think I'm going to just play something else until they have put out a few patches.  Pretty damn ridiculous that this is what happens so often when buying a AAA game at launch.

I refuse to go to Val Royeaux if there is no music.

Refuse!

I read through the list and didn't see a quite disapointing issue I've come across in the game:
When attacked from a distance, either with magic or arrows, many enemies won't react and chase or attack me.

I can attack them until I kill them, and the only thing they will do is scream or shout.
This happened to me in one of the fortresses in the Hinterlands, in the templar camp (in the Hinterlands as well) and also in the Temple of Solasan (in this case, I could kill the Arcane Horror and the archers without being noticed as long as I didn't enter the room they were in).

I wonder if I'm the only one who has experienced this...

That makes the game fairly simple, doesn't it..

You can bet :D
But it doesn't meet my expectations of a "hard" difficulty level.

Since I got this turkey for Thanksgiving will you at least put a patch in my Christmas stocking Bioware? If you patch the game BEFORE I get my credit card bill I probably won't throw stuffing at you - of course I'll still never pre-order again.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but i scanned through and didn't notice it. THIS IS INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING. But it's also very simple. My male warrior character, is addressed and singled out and treated continually throughout the game as if i'm a female. I'm always addressed a female would be. I'm referred to as a female consistently. And all the NPC's THINK i'm a female. Pretty hard to get the game dick on the go with chicky boo's who think i'm rocking inside balls.

Just saying folks.

Trying to get a slap at Cassandra and she's not digging "the opposite sex".

In regards to "Multiplayer" ... Has Bioware actually done a MMORPG before?  Have they created anything along the lines of Multi Player experience for the internet?  Do they understand the implications around a Multiplayer experience?  I would have thought they had, but alas what I've played in their Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer experience says they haven't and need to seriously rethink entering this forum.  With the amount of "bugs" and "glitches" within I have rarely played or experienced a game with some many issues.  Between the lag, endless resets, and session time-outs I haven't really got a chance to experience anything lasting or enjoyable.  I really think they should have created the Multiplayer idea as a separate entity so they could have spent the time to create a finished product, other than the sloppy half attempt at something mildly passing as "something".
