PC Control:

And please don't forget the horrible scrolling Inventory! It's obviously meant for a gamepad!

It doesn't even show you which item is currently equipped unless you scroll and click on EACH item individually until that small subtext (equipped by XXX) shows up!!

It's horrible!!!

I spend so much time managing my non-intuitive inventory!!

Player Character footsteps using horse footstep audio clip.

After I woke up in Haven after sealing the breach and fighting the Pride Demon, my game CTD'd after the Elf Servant left the room. Once I reloaded the game I noticed my character's feet were making horse hoof sounds as I ran around Haven. Quitting and reloading did not fix it, and it is pretty annoying.

The aggro needs some tweaks. I didn't really see a problem in SP, but in multiplayer enemies often just go for a random person. The worst I have seen is when I jumped in to a group of enemies as a legionnaire, used my war cry and all enemies ran to a person that just connected at the start of the level....

These things are simply unforgivable.

These are indications that this part of the PC UI was simply glossed over, nothing inspected, nothing flagged.

I just don't get how this happened.

You seem to be playing a male elf, please visit: http://forum.bioware...-its-problems/ and share your trauma with us. I commend you for durability. It looks as if they are far in the game, living with the broken-glued arms. Hero, no, Inquisitor!

I indeed finished the game with a Dalish mage. It was my first character, so I had no idea the elves in particular had issues. Thanks for informing me.

Edit: Actually, I've... never encountered the glued arm glitch. I think I'd notice something so... creepy looking.

Hello again! No lovely pictures this time around. Now playing a female human mage. Tried to play a rogue, but since I preferred actually hitting things, I switched back to a mage.

Venatori appeared in the Hinterlands during my second trip down but prior to me going to Val... Reaux Val Royeaux? Sorry for my terrible recollection of French spelling. Anyway, story wise, I'd not been introduced to the Venatori yet. That would be well and good except for the fact that Solas blatantly mentioned Corypheous's involvement, despite the fact he'd not been introduced yet!

Now I know Solas knows things without explanation, but this?? Bioware! For shame! (Good thing this happened my second playthrough and not my first.)

Spooooilers!

I read through the list and didn't see a quite disapointing issue I've come across in the game:
When attacked from a distance, either with magic or arrows, many enemies won't react and chase or attack me.

I can attack them until I kill them, and the only thing they will do is scream or shout.
This happened to me in one of the fortresses in the Hinterlands, in the templar camp (in the Hinterlands as well) and also in the Temple of Solasan (in this case, I could kill the Arcane Horror and the archers without being noticed as long as I didn't enter the room they were in).

I wonder if I'm the only one who has experienced this...

I utilize this exploit constantly, especially with dragons. My favorite part is that if you're far away enough, your allies will run towards the battle, only to be teleported back to your side when they start to get close. The only reason I can guess this is happening is due to a very strict character distance law that would prefer to break the rules of physics rather than allow you and your allies any distance from one another.

**** me.  I haven't even thought about what class I want to be in my first playthrough, but this is clearly a problem.

They absolutely *must* add autoattack back in.  There's no question about it.

Try reloading any kind of cutscene. You shall see it. 100% working-correctly proof. You must have missed it

I started an elf once, her hands were weird and knobby, webbed with glitched polys.

Auto attacking with rogues solve all your problems with not hitting. And if you miss, i dont think it expends stam unless its an AOE.

There is auto attack. I still dont understand why people insist there is no auto attack.

And i apologize for the jibberish that spews out of my texts. I promise, the auto correct on my phone is worse. I have thumbs WAY to large for these keys.

The glass fox is a glass fox, btw.

If ever my village is ever under seige by a fire breathing dragon, i must say, I'll be the first to either hide in a house made of kindling or get my legs stuck under a pallet of firebombs that hasn't moved in days. Why? How? Good questions. Civilians, sheesh.

Still enjoying the game. Begging Santa for a patch.

Brogan, i commend you for avoiding a playthrough. I also think its hilarious that you frequent the boards as much as you do, having only fiddled with character generation and the intro tut. Stay strong.

Skyhold bugs

I haven't seen it in the list on the first page, but at some point, I get a mage merchant.  Or I suppose he is a mage.  Anyway, I get a 3rd merchant (4th if you count the horse trader).  But I can't see it.  I only see the icon for Buy/Sell, not the actual stand nor the person that's supposed to be there.

Talk to the mage handling requisitions.  She says "a request have been made of you.  Here it is".  The first time, it's her request, wich you handle in the war room.  But after doing that, she still says the same, and only by talking to each minor person in the castle can you discover who made a request and can then proceed to fill it.  Maybe a little marker on the map would be nice?

During the quest to search for books (Scattered in Skyhold) that were lost in Skyhold, there is one book stuck in the middle of the air, along a stairway.  The book isn't exactly accessible, though you could still manage it by falling down the ramp and pressing "F" at the right moment.

Still the book quest: once complete, there are still books appearing everywhere in Skyhold.  The quest does update for me, though, while I'm doing it.

I looked over the bug list but don't remember seeing this. I encountered a glitch where Solas's personal quest "All New, Faded for Her" doesn't update in the quest list when you complete it. Also, his third quest "What Lies Dormant," which is suppsed to activate after activating a certain number of elven artifacts is not appearing.

1. About 40% of the time after the game enters either a dialog, or the War Room menu, I can't interact with the options until I alt/tab out of the game, then go back into the game. Update- Fixed since 12/09 patch

2. My blizzard spell frequently will not reset even though the timer has reset and then it can't be used, and this lasts indefinitely until you save and then exit to the main game menu and load the save game. That can't be done during combat, so if you don't notice it's not available before entering combat, or if it happens during combat, the Blizzard spell is not available again until after the battle is over and you've done the above. Update- Fixed since 12/09 patch

3. Periodically I will spot enemies and attempt an attack, then find I'm out of range to use the spell I want. I will cancel the spell and move forward into range to launch the spell, and when I do I will suddenly be teleported back to the location I was when I first tried. At that point my NPC's are in combat though, and now suddenly I'm out of range to launch any spells to aid them.

4. Three times when in a dialog cut scene, the party I've been talking to has suddenly started swirling around like they are a tetherball, and that continued until the cut scene was done. Update- Fixed since 12/09 patch

5. The western most quarry right by Gracevine camp in Emerald Graves is not updating on the map that I have claimed it, and still shows un-claimed on the map.

6. Periodically the game will become very stuttered, like it's running at very low frame rates, and this will occur in areas I've been numerous times with no issue previously and nothing going on to tax the video card (like standing inside the hallway to the War Room at Skyhold). When I check my GPU temps, they are only around 40-45c. Saving, then exiting to the main menu and then reloading the game from my save point resolves the issue, so it does not appear to be a graphics problem.

7. Very long load times, particularly the first load after launching the game. I've timed it at 1:02 from clicking continue until it is actually in the game on the initial load. Level loads after that vary with some at 10-15 seconds and others at 30-40 seconds.

8. At Emprise Du Lion, Suledin Keep, there is a quest marker at Baron Edouard Desjardins, however no quest is triggered when speaking with him, and searching the area reveals nothing to be discovered. It appears to be a broken quest trigger.

9. Holy clipping batman! There are severe clipping issues in this game, ranging from hair and facial hair extending through armor and clothing, to people stuck inside of other people. Update- Improved (but not resolved) since 12/09 patch

Those are the primary glitches that I've noted. DAI is a fantastic game, but issues like these immediately yank you out of the experience, so I'm hoping they fix them and shore up the immersion factor.

I would like to adress two more bugs:

1.) After a battle, sometimes one or more characters won't  leave combat stance, making for that/those character/s impossible to level up or make other out of combat activities such as talking to a npc etc.

2.) While in tac cam, if I switch to Blackwall and I command him to use a skill, sometimes I'm not able to switch to another character without leaving tac cam mode.

This bug might not be specific for Blackwall, as I always put him in tmy 4th party slot (could be due to this?)

3.) This one's the most painfull for me.

Randomly after a number of character switches I got stuck at the last party member I chose so I can't switch to another character.

The only way I found to solve this is reloading my saves.

I don't know if this is specific to the PC but is anyone else getting a bug where you'll randomly switch party member control for no reason?

War room in Skyhold loads very slow or just not (at the screen of the map where you can choose between Orlais and Ferelden). Alt-tab to desktop and alt-tab back into the game speeds things up, loads immediatly after that.

[edit]Just saw that superfuzznpd at http://forum.bioware.com/topic/522528-pc-community-bug-list-opinions/page-24#entry17979927made the same remark[/edit]

I have perfected the art of making a human male who looks like Madelin Kahn, and a female Qunari who looks like Pee Wee Herman.

And I can't wait till they fix this game so I never have to see you people again.

This means there should be no problem making this possible in Action Cam.

The menu systems need to be organized better. Why do I have to page back and forth just to find my equipment? This is especially true for trying to find a shield. Sometimes the icon is there, sometimes it is not. The same is true for NPC's.

I go to one of my party member's location once and they are not there. Go there again, and they are. Some NPC's disappear altogether. For example, Leliana vanished completely from her perch in the tower only to appear several hours later after many repeat visits to find her. Her map marker was of no use in finding her either as it said that she was there, when she was not. The other problems have already been reported, such as the vanishing dialogue wheel after a cut scene. That one really gets me on the PC. I have had to replay it several times in order to advance the main quest.

In MP on PS4:

* The player can't move the camera. He can move and perform actions, but it is as if the right stick isn't working. To fix it. He has to quit the game, not just the match.

* I had a minor glitch where my stamina got stuck at half. It was fixed by using an ability. I suppose it wouldn't be such a minor glitch if I didn't have a cheap ability to use (if all the abilities available would cost 65 or more stamina). Below is a video of it:

In SP on PS4:

* As for the glitch where you can't swap characters, it happened to me, too. I could still swap characters in the menu, though. That might help a little bit, so you can disengage from the fight, save, quit and return. And, btw, it seemed to have happened while I was casting an AoE in Tactical Camera and there was a veil fire torch on the floor. Guess this could have something to do with what triggers the glitch.

____________

I think that considering the scope of this game, it's not very buggy at all. I'm very pleased with the relatively small amount and gravity of glitches. And thanks a lot for compiling the, OP.

c'mon people.  You think the devs working on the 3rd patch need to keep searching for this thread (since it's apparently not worthy of stickyness)
