I don't know whether it's been mentioned or not, but I'd like to report a couple of bugs that I (personally) have experienced several times:

 

-After the cutscene post-character creation, there's a glitch in which the character is stuck in the cutscene's scenario (the stairs you climb to escape the spiders) without any possibility of exiting. It has happened to me 2/3 times after creating a new character. I haven't found an explanation yet.

 

-The map tells the player the exact location of their companions in Haven, For some reason, when I get to that location, I cannot find said companions. However I do stumble upon their invisible selves. They are there, but it's impossible to interact because I cannot see them. In my case, it has happened with Leliana after our first (and only) chat in the tent, and with Cullen after a cutscene which showed a group of angry people (which also disappear, yet I can hear them) in front of the chantry doors. Maybe it has something to do with graphic settings?!

 

Does anyone know about any fixes?

I actually have a new complaint which is the lack of option to quit the game altogether when I'm done playing. In Skyrim and other games you have the 'Exit to Main Menu' and the 'Exit game' option which closes the game altogether without a visit to the menu to do so. I honestly don't want to save my game, go to the menu and then exit ALL THE TIME when I've decided I need to take a break, and I don't know why they think this is an apparently important feature? If I'm done playing the game, I'm done. I am not looking to do...whatever it is they think I want to do in the menu screen.

 

A simple option, but one that would eliminate the stress of knowing I have to go through another loading screen to click another option to close the game.

Added most other bugs not listed and also regrouped a lot of it as promised earlier. 

Now the SP, MP and General headlines shall be strict bugs while Community Opinions, well that speaks for itself :)

Weapon switching (switchable weapon/armor sets) during and outside of combat needs to be added, a hotbar button and a bindable keyboard/mouse button for this would be nice. This thread covered everything else quite well.  I've had the war table button icons become unresponsive many, many times as well as dialog icons. The loading times are horrendously long and it would be better to have the tips loading screen only with a 'click to continue' icon so you can finish reading before you spawn into the game.

 

A great game tarnished pretty severely by bad design choices and awol Q&A.

 

 

 

 

Edit:

 

The icon to disrupt/destroy the rifts are extremely hard to see at times. They need to be lowered and made larger to stand out better.

Would you please add that tac cam collides with environment? If this is a "feature" it's really annoying. The fact that I need to move the tac cam exactly like a character is stupid (need to actually move tac cam through doors, get's stuck on steep edges so you can't target enemies on cliffs, need to walk the camera around boxes, etc).

 

Then there's the whole issue where if there is a slight overhang (EG: a fallen pillar jutting out of the ground at 45 degree angle) and you pan the tac cam over it then the camera thinks you're in an interior setting and it zooms you WAY in so you can look at the grass detail.

I do not know if anyone else experienced this?

 

Example: While in tactical camera, you move your party behind a rock, telling them to "Hold". Than you go with your mage to pull the enemy and try tricking him to follow you behind the rock where you are protected from enemy archers. But, when you attack, you turn around to see your party right behind you, not where you possitioned them. So frustrating, I have no words for it...

 

By the way, "hold" doesn`t work unless in tactical camera, which is pretty strange too. It worked in pervious games just fine.

Warrior: Untouchable Defence says it gives +3 Constitution when unlocked.

 

It does not.

 

I would imagine the same goes for most of the other abilities that increase attributes.

 

This could be something to do with saving the game before assigning the ability points then opening the menu again to assign them. It persists through reloads 'though.

Not sure if this was added yet but after messing with behaviors my party no longer uses any of their offensive abilties.

That's a pretty egregious item not to include.  I mean, did the team lead in charge of this stuff not play any PC games in the last decade?  Was he just unaware it doesn't need to be so difficult?

I have a bug on several occasions where party members will not use abilities in combat anymore (even though they had been previously, and I changed nothing).

 

Seems to resolve if I exit the game and start it again, but it is annoying.

here is a bug I have encountered. Several times the dialogue wheel would appeare but without the numbers attached to them, nor did pressing the keys work. anyone have this issue as well?

Few bugs with the dialogue wheel have been reported, definitely needs looking into.

Another note of FPS issues, running kinda old system but the rates are all over the place between wilderness and towns.

 

Quad core q9500 OC at 3.6ghz

8GB DDR2

GTX 760 moderate OC

 

Meets the min specs for sure and according to the German testing table that's been posted here I should be ok for High settings.  I can run High just fine and get decent 40-50 fps running around the forest, 30-40 in busy battle scenes, then I enter any area with people and get 15!  Changing to all Low settings has no impact.  Changing to a lower resolution makes it worse.

 

GPU runs 80-90% on High at 50 fps.  Drops to 30% when I'm at 15 fps.  CPU stays about 90% all the time, regardless of location or settings.

Dunno if anyone else has been having this problem, but every once in a while my game will start freezing up at intervals. It will freeze for 10 seconds, normal for 5, freeze for 10, normal for 5. I have to quit it entirely and re-open it to get it back to normal again. It has happened in many places (during boss fights, exploring, at the war table, in the menu) and at random times - usually only once ever ~5 or so hours of play but sometimes back to back, sometimes within minutes of first opening the game.

Er....I got a weird bug tonight where after I made my sweet new battle-mage gear my characters arms and fingers become elongated and wonky in cut-scenes. That was quite distracting for the entirety of the templar quest :( When I equipped some random piece of cloth armor I picked up she went back to normal.
