I've noticed two instances of letters you can read that describe two possible Inquisitors. The first was in the Hinterlands, in the dwarven ruin controlled by the Carta (can't remember the name). The second is in the armory in Skyhold, I think on the second floor. In both cases the notes mentioned a situation involving my current character, then a second paragraph describing the same scenario for a different class. If it matters, I am playing a qunari, and at least the second note described a (human?) noble.

There appears to be some serious problems with the way the game uses vram. I did a series of test to find the culpit that made my pc drop to about 2-3 fps in certain places. I found that the game had filled by dedicated vram on my gfx card to the brim (1248) and insted of using the system memory that was allocated, it started to flush the dedicated vram to free up space.
This makes for some quite funny results, where one is able to run all graphics options on ultra/max except textures because they take up so much memory. So its either textures on low and the rest of the settings on ultra or its is textures on ultra and rest on low/medium. I geuss most people dont experience this since it appears that if one is running about 2-3gigs of dedicated vram the celling is never reached.
I belive many of the technical problems people on older hardware face is because of this.
BTW I remember this exact same problem with total war: rome 2 at launch. It was addressed rather quickly and I can only hope this will be aswell.

P.S. I apologize if we're not supposed to link images in our posts. I just thought a visual would help explain things better.

EDIT:
Wait, the mages don't actually wear a robe at the beginning of the game?? O: Because, mine was wearing a black robe at the beginning also---it looked pretty cool so I thought that was normal! I went to youtube to check other female mages and they were wearing the default green outfit. Put in spoilers just in case people don't want to see what could be the final mage outfit or something like that.

Best topic thus far!

In the hinterlands you can run into Druffy before accepting the quest. If attacked (which is relatively easy to do as he is surrounded by aggressive wolves) he will proceed to be an unkillable force that can 1 hit low level characters. It would be nice if either he appeared when you accept the quest or he was friendly. Thanks.

No idea if someone has said this but I had a quick scan through and couldn't see it (might be wrong) but there's a bug and I've been able to duplicate it.
I've been making tons of characters to get the right look on my main one and after skipping the text and scenes in the fade if you keep clicking esc so to skip the last scene when they capture you it locks you in the fade, you can't save or do anything it's just the start setting with your character at low hp with nothing around.
You can even run around in this area lol, reminds me of a setting from a film but in-game.

Not sure if someone mentioned this already, but there's a bug where Cullen disappears from haven after the cutscene with the chancellor and mob in front of the chapel. The map marker is there, but he's invisible and can't be interacted with.

I've heard that the Frostbite Engine has some kind of sensitivity to graphics cards overheating. If that's the case, then that still doesn't explain why my game has been crashing constantly for only the past day or so. And it froze when I turned it to windowed fullscreen, something someone suggested I do. It froze faster than it crashed, actually.
The crash from DX11 makes no sense to me because my GPU is very, very far from overheating when I run this game. I'm at mid 60s to low 70s tops. I'm on a 5 month old 780ti which has had few issues running any game that didn't turn out to be the game's fault. Case in point. Why this is happening now after successfully having played initial long stretches of time is unknown to me.
Furthermore, the gameplay itself has been buggier the past day than it was the first two or three. Why this is, again I don't know. Character jumping backwards way, way too far in the archer skill, and other similar gravity issues like my character being shot up in the air vertically for no reason.

A wonderful thing you are doing, vBobo. If Bioware can address a majority of the big issues here, they will have a semi-decent game on their hands.

^^ I think the camera system needs to be totally revamped.
And I haven't even started playing yet.
Truth.
See this thread for a detailed explanation and demonstration video for what is broken with the camera and controls:

Not primarily a bug but an annoyance. Can someone please stop that wench in the bar in Haven from singing? Not only is the (bad) singing too loud, the songs are lousy, she cant' even carry a tune without blowing through her nose. WTF! IT'S ANNOYING AS HELL!
errmm...my 2cents.

The first item on the list has been ruining what would have otherwise for me been a great game so far. Since starting the campaign, every cut scene with somebody with a close up lags and so the dialogue doesn't match up with the animations. After turning my settings down to medium, it's not as pronounced, but then I'm missing out on one of the main features of the game, which is that it's beautiful when the game is working correctly.
While there're many other small technical issues, this is such a major issue in a game that has so many cut scenes.

Everything on the screen should be able to be reached using the keyboard.
Minimap should have Orientation option. Head up or follow me
Have a look at WoW interface. Everything can be setup as required.
Positioning of screen elements is a must
Feeling rather letdown by all this! ![]()

And Shyrke its mainly for that reason really, just trying to get the PC issues seen and made easier for bioware to hopefully fix!

Didn't find this in the list. In my case game crashes everytime I try to look through the skull to locate shards. I need to restart and try again. This may be connected with AMD graphic card.

I have trouble disabling Shield Wall on Cassandra. Once I activate it, it persists until she runs out of stamina or I use another skill. Problem is sometimes I'm so low stamina that I can't really use another skill and she keeps turtling along to infinity.
I suppose the "Cancel all actions" button works, but a cleaner, simpler way to just toggle it on and off would be ideal.

"Quest will be completed in ten years"
Damn man, that Cullen is a mess in a human shape, 10 years to finish a mission like that? LOL!!!

Restarted the game because I wanted to play a mage instead of a warrior...but, the game hates me. My character's clothes changed from her mage outfit into this. Instead of a mage weapon, an archer's weapon appeared also. And then, it changed back into a staff. This game is hella glitchy. D:
P.S. I apologize if we're not supposed to link images in our posts. I just thought a visual would help explain things better.

Spoiler
My mage started with the basic green outfit, not that nice one you spoiled... But the bow was a bug for sure...

The resources gathering should be a war table mission like the money one. It's funny in the beginning, but after a while it gets annoying having to move away from side quests and main storyline just to gather all that...
There should be an option to send somebody to gather this or that resource we need and just wait for the countdown and then go and use the material.

I've updated my driver to 14.11.2 Beta.
My pc:
8 GB RAM
i5-2500k
win7 64
Radeon 6850 HD
On medium and low settings:
Games return to desktop once per hour. Additionally sometimes game return to desktop when i click continue in menu (loading game from list works). Also sometimes game almost always return to desktop (9/10 cases) in some pleaces (after prologue and when i'm trying to enter inn to meet with mage).
Smaller issue is that i can't play in multiplayer - after joining game disconect me from match and return to desktop.
Waiting for patch becouse i like this game and it's really hard to play right now.
