Hey -

I have been playing MP on PC but with an xbox controller.  When you have the controller enabled, the keybind section of the options menu is locked so I have no idea if there is a push to talk button but my mic is always on when I play and everyone can hear everything where I am even the audio from my own game.

I see that I can mute other players but how to I mute myself or turn off my mic in game?

PC has no push to talk option, controller or not.

If you don't need the mic for something else while you're playing you can disable it via Windows. There are few hotkey scripts floating around here that let you bind it to a button on your keyboard so you can turn it on and off mid-game.

There's currently no push-to-talk option at all or even a way to mute your own mic (other than disconnecting your mic).

Pretty much what they said. I'm fortunate enough to be using a corded mic with an on/off switch on the cord. It effectively gives a push-to-talk option though hardware, but that is the only way i think.

You can mute/disable it via Windows as well, and there's a script floating around these forums for Autohotkey that lets you bind muting your mic to a keyboard button.

It works alright as a poor man's push to talk assuming you don't need your mic for other purposes while playing, since it does completely mute it.
