Hello, everyone! New to the forums here. I hope I'm posting in the right spot. Forgive me if I'm wrong.

To start off, I'm extremely late on the ME trilogy. I just played all three games this year, and I must say, they are absolutely amazing. I remember starting the first game. I picked up Wrex and Garrus and those two immediately became my best buddies throughout the whole trilogy. I took them on every mission I could, unless a specific squad mate was absolutely needed or was much more optimized than those two. If I had the option to blow through the enemy's front lines with these two, you better believe that I didn't even hesitate to take it up. Then.. Ashley. Yes, I decided to romance Ashley. I thought she was an alright gal. This lead to me choosing Ashley over Kaiden. I'm sorry Kaiden. You are gone, but not forgotten. Great start to a trilogy in my opinion.

I loved the first game so I decided to follow up and get the second game in the series. It was great seeing everyone again. The moment I was informed that Archangel was a turian causing trouble on Omega, I knew exactly who he was and rushed to save him. I was legitimately worried for a fictional character when he was mortally wounded. I kid you not. I then met up with one of my other good friends on Tuchanka, Wrex. He didn't join my team but it was completely understandable as to why he couldn't.  In his stead, I found Legion. He didn't replace Wrex, but he was one hell of a sharpshooter. Then I met up with Ashley on Horizon. Sadly, she didn't want to join my cause, but I wasn't mad. The came Jack. Yes, I romanced Jack in ME2. She was crazy on the outside but she was normal on the inside. Then the suicide mission. I replayed saves over and over just to make sure everyone made it out alive. Great continuation of the game.

Again, loved ME2 so I said,"F it! Let's get the third!" Again, loved how BioWare progressed all the original characters to doing their own thing. I found Garrus as a general, Wrex leading his planet, and Legion.. Well he wasn't doing so well, but I took care of that. I was sad that I didn't have the whole crew on my ship as I thought I would, but that's alright. Everyone was off doing their own thing. We had our ups and our downs in ME3. I lost quite a few people along the way, but they are not forgotten. Towards the end.. I decided to give up my own life and destroy the reapers once and for all. I don't know if somebody found me through all that rubble in time or not (perfect ending where Shepard "survives"), but I died happily knowing I saved my friends and the whole galaxy. At least I got to hang out with them one last time and get into all kinds of trouble in the Citadel DLC. Not all stories have happy endings. Shepard may no longer be with us, but he is immortalized through all the fans of the first Mass Effect trilogy.

Great game, BioWare! Great story, great character development and amazing gameplay. I look forward to the next Mass Effect trilogy. Forgive me for my wall of text. I just had to get this off my chest. Thanks for taking the time to read! :)

Ashley? *shivers* she was probably the on that i did not quite like due to the fact that she was a racist and would treat all the non humans like dirt which honestly annoyed me  and one example i can think of is when she would say "i cant tell the difference between the animals and the aliens." but other than that she was pretty chill, good companion to fight with, and had a cool back story

She comes around. She has a much different attitude about aliens if you take her with you when you have that talk with Charles Saracino just before going to Ilos. Can't remember exactly how she words it but she definitely disagrees with Terra Firma's stance on aliens. Surprised me to hear it, as I expected her urge shep to support them. Ah well, welcome to the ME 'verse.

Welcome to the forums, where Wrex is underrated and an innocent thank you thread becomes a heated debate about how racist Ashley is on the first page. :P

You obviously have excellent taste because you mentioned Wrex, Jack and Citadel in one post.

Over/Under on Liara's name first appearing in this thread?

Uhh... after this post of course.

Yeah, I agree with you there Sporkfu.  Liara is the best female character in the game and Ashley is a space racist with bad hair and terrible voice acting. Don't get me started on why the Quarians deserved to die either. Love me some Geth. ;)  :D  B)

Welcome to BSN. Yes, Mass Effect is an amazing franchise. I was fortunate enough to be an early fan the very moment the trilogy began back on the Xbox 360 in 2007. The Shepard trilogy will forever be one of the greatest video game achievements ever accomplished (regardless of what all the haters on ME3's ending may say). It's certainly BioWare's most successful franchise (hopefully DAI will put DA on the right path). I look forward to the new direction MENext takes the franchise. Hopefully, the next game will continue the high standards the entire original series set for not only BioWare, but all video games.

And the genophage. Been a long time since anyone talked about that.   :P

Seriously though. Welcome, OP.  :) Glad to hear you loved the trilogy experience.

Alright! I had 'next post' in the pool. Woo!

Welcome to the Forums, OP! You already met some of the nice people in here, (Hey Spork! And Vazgen too :D) including me now :P

We are a Good Comunity, but we are BSN, so if you're trolled, troll back!

Oh, and it's nice to see someone who subscribed to the forums to talk about the ME Experience, not to Complain and Butt-Hurt about the endings. It's a Welcome Sight here :D

Good thing you only finished it recently. At least it wasn't ruined for you.
