-We have longer loading screens, which means more time to listen the the epic main theme

-The above also means more play time which means more hours for our $$$!

-DAO on high, DA2 on medium and DAI on low all look the same pretty much! Such continuity, it makes the games look like a true trilogy.

What do you all see as the biggest benefits?

Already low frame rates....so we don't understand the performance complaints from people with nice rigs.

We have to take regular breaks, lest our hardware melts.. In addition to being recommended by the doctor this gives us time to digest and reflect upon the plot, something which ultimately leads to wiser decisions and better enjoyment.

I can see the opening logos as many times as I want and listen to the main theme on a black screen until everything goes kaput!
Good times lol

A big positive is that you are probably not as tightly coiled as people who obsess over having the best specs!

Sometimes I switch to ultra to play at 15FPS and switch back to medium/low to feel the "high framerate"

Not something great gaming rigs can do.

I can't read the things during the loading screens because of my high end PC that also has a solid state drive.

No thoughts of, "WHY DOESN'T THIS GAME LOOK BETTER!!!" because I really have no frame of reference for what "good" looks like nowadays.

DAO on highest settings actually looked better than DA2, for the most part. More polish and attention to detail, only a marginally older engine.

Frame rate drops during big explosions and other special combat moments. This cool slow motion effect really adds to the epic feel of the game.

The frame rate cap in cutscenes is non-issue

Spend some cash and get a good rig lest they grow tired of making PC games due to the endless moaning and groaning.

And lose out on all the amazing features we get (As listed above)? I think not.

I only have a gtx 770 an fx8320 and 10 gig of ram and I have everything set at ultra apart from mxaa which is set to x2 not x4, and it performs perfectly. It's not that much to ask these days.

I'm going to have to try this now. I'm actually er, lower high class on the spectrum, but if I push everything to Ultra, I should be able to get slomo explosions... I'm going to turn it off during dragons though, because I don't want to see the guts flying all over the place when they're mine.

You don't have to be bothered with all those touchy feely companion quests because your companions constantly don't spawn at their correct locations in the base.
