1 quick question, how do you talk on PC....????I cant find the button to do it

i watched a video before the game launch. some guy from interview said they provide push to talk, free to talk and no talk on PC....and i dont see them in setting...

As far as nobody hearing anything, make sure your microphone is plugged in, the volume is not muted, and that it works

They said this in one of the streams, but it's not actually in the game.

 

As far as I know, BioWare has yet to comment on it. The best we can do in the meantime is the hacked together push to talk script that Peer of the Empire linked.

so are you able to talk on PC?  my mic worked on all other programs...but this....they cant hear me and its killing me when you meet some good mates and cant add them lol

You are able to talk on PC. It actually forces your mic to be always on.

 

If people aren't responding then either DA:I isn't picking up your mic properly or else they're just not talking. If ME3MP is any indication, not a lot of PC people actually talk over the mic.

Can anyone else confirm that the game doesn't pick up external audio interface for mic inn,

I get no response on my xlr mic.

Personally, I can't get people to hear me on my USB mic. The icon shows up in the lobby to show that I am talking, and I can hear myself through my headphones, but no one else can hear me.

From me experience with DAMP, PC players still don't talk...lol.

 

P.S. How do you activate the text chat? Because I have yet to see anyone using it.
