The developers already said they're listening, and working on releasing a patch. What are you actually voting with your wallet again if they're working on fixing the bugs now? Big games like Skyrim or DAI have a lot of glitches due to the vastness of the world. I personally don't have any problem with the game asides from some counterintuitive gameplay on PC.
Saying they work on it, working on it and actually fixing problems are three entirely different things. You could say that recent release debacles made me pessimistic and the industry-wide marketing shenanigans have in no small part contributed, but unless I get a working product, they don't get the money. If they really fix it, theyÄll likely see my money again. But I will absolutely not just let them have my money and simply hope they do fix it and if worst comes to pass have to haggle with EA support to get my money back down the road if things didn't get fixed.
No working product, no money. Working product, money. It's that easy and if everyone would do it, the monetary incentive to provide refined products would no doubt be way more significant than the current customer mentality of "wait and hope it gets fixed" is.
But I certainly want more of this to happen in the future, and the cost and scope of something like this means only the very large and very wealthy companies can ever afford to do it.
Which is why they should create good products. Those will create money for them. And if they can't provide the necessary level of quality, it's only right for them to get scrapped. That's how a proper market should function, not having subpar quality effectively subventioned by lenient customers.
