Just curious how many others are so disappointed (doesn't really say it right, more like disappointed and downright furious) that they decided to request a refund?

For those that didn't, and are thinking about it still, I encourage you to do so since it's really the only thing that will make the publishers take notice (although, the user reviews on Metacritic are hilariously negative except those which seem to be basically from "people who don't like RPGs". Maybe EA will notice that too. Wait, who am I kidding, they'll notice money and nothing else...)

If they fix it, whether that's in a few days, or a few months, then I'll purchase it again. Seems like the logical way to send a message about the type of quality control deemed acceptable...

I bought the pc version from game stop since i didnt want to spend time downloading it. I think I may be stuck with this travesty of a game. I highly recommend everyone to return it that can. I highly doubt as PC users Bioware will ever respect us, but at least that might make them notice us.

Yes.

Tried loving it and the potential is there, but it's an unstable mess. Will look at DAI again after they released patches to see if they fixed it, if yes I may get it again, if no, I vote with my wallet.

I think the positives far outweigh the negatives. I can't judge the game as a whole unless I've finished it. What else do you have to play (if you like WRPGs). There's not too many epic RGPs out there.

Oh, I would love to finish the game. But the game doesn't want to.

I'd love nothing more for them to take my Xbox360 copy off my hands.

I'd rather play the Mass Effect Trilogy over for the umpth time.  BW did the PS3/Xbox360 owners wrong.  The game looks horrible.  I get freezing trying to load from an autosave that I have to go back to an actual save to get things loaded which means I lose stuff by going backwards.  I should not get beat down constantly playing on casual.  My load times are over 1 minute.

Should I go on?  The only thing keeping me trying to waddle through this mess is the story.  I have many runs through DA:O and DA2, I'm lucky to get through 1 in DA:I.

I have it for Xbox One. Perhaps Bioware stretched their resources too thin to support 4 consoles and PC.

The developers already said they're listening, and working on releasing a patch. What are you actually voting with your wallet again if they're working on fixing the bugs now? Big games like Skyrim or DAI have a lot of glitches due to the vastness of the world. I personally don't have any problem with the game asides from some counterintuitive gameplay on PC.

Positives outweigh the negatives. There is no company producing games with this scope and depth anymore, companion focused RPG with the graphical fidelity and production value of Dragon Age 1, 2 or 3. Or Mass Effect 1, 2 or 3. Refund? Lol. Get outta here.

Make your view known, and let's try to get some responses and things patched.

But I certainly want more of this to happen in the future, and the cost and scope of something like this means only the very large and very wealthy companies can ever afford to do it.

For most of us it isn't even glitches. It's the general awfulness of the combat system. See other threads for that, it has been explained a million times. Bioware LIED to its fans when it said it was making this game for the PC first and foremost. That is OBVIOUSLY not the case.

Saying they work on it, working on it and actually fixing problems are three entirely different things. You could say that recent release debacles made me pessimistic and the industry-wide marketing shenanigans have in no small part contributed, but unless I get a working product, they don't get the money. If they really fix it, theyÄll likely see my money again. But I will absolutely not just let them have my money and simply hope they do fix it and if worst comes to pass have to haggle with EA support to get my money back down the road if things didn't get fixed.

No working product, no money. Working product, money. It's that easy and if everyone would do it, the monetary incentive to provide refined products would no doubt be way more significant than the current customer mentality of "wait and hope it gets fixed" is.

Which is why they should create good products. Those will create money for them. And if they can't provide the necessary level of quality, it's only right for them to get scrapped. That's how a proper market should function, not having subpar quality effectively subventioned by lenient customers.

If this is anything like Mass Effect 3, Bioware will do their best to make their unhappy gamers happy. There will be fixes without a doubt.

I don't know what's so game breaking about this game. I occasionally running into bugs, but it only happens twice during my 50 hours gameplay. This game is everything I ask for with deep customization, decisions, storyline, and big open world that can be plays for more than 100 hours. I don't know about you, but most game nowadays only last for 5-30 hours. I already got my money worth out of it. Up to you, I guess.

The XBOX 360 version reminds me of Two Worlds.

If you played Two Worlds you know what I'm talking about.

But Two Worlds was released in 2007 by a German company nowhere near as big as EA/BioWare!

Up to me indeed, because thanks to constant crashes, freezes, etc., I've only managed to clock eight hours of gametime.

IT isn't up to them. The game runs alright for some people, it's suspected it might be the DRM because lords of the fallen had the same problems. Unstable for like 40% of the people who bought it. So it works fine for you, but try and understand how frustrating it is for that 40% that paid for it and is unable to play it despite having the hardware to do so.

That being said, origin gives you a 24 hour great game or w/e to return the game, it's what I did. Just return the game, get your money back, and when they fix the bugs re-purchase the title. That way as long as they fix the problems, they still make the sale money, and you don't risk losing money if they don't fix it. Thing is you have to do it within 24 hours so people can't just wait for it to get fixed.

See that's the problem. People don't research before buying, and when they don't like it, instead of posting in a detailed manner under feedback, they go in other threads and go WHOAAAAA!!!! WHOAAAAA!!!! WHOAAAA!!!

Geez, just concentrate on building a solid, well written thread and invite people to like or reply the sh!t out of them.

I sympathize with the PC controls problems, but the game mechanics and devs choices won't be fixed, even if you create 76 threads of the same whining. It was a design choice, one they decided to sink or swim with.

For me, they're not only swimming, they're surfing!

And the metacritic stuff is stupid. A game should be judged on its own merit, not on what YOU want it to be. If I'm expecting an NHL game to have an Olympics mode, and will only give it kudos if it is included and dispatch the rest of the game, then buying the game without what I want in it gives me the right to say it's crap?

Entitled Gamergate dipsh!t mentality. (Not necessarily at OP, I think those concerned may recognize themselves)

They never once said the game was developed for the PC first and foremost. That's your wishful thinking.

"PC is basically our lead platform because we all develop on the PC," producer Cameron Lee told VideoGamer.com earlier this week. "We have these mind-blowing, powerful PCs that are just incredible.

"So we develop on that first and foremost and then we keep the other platforms up and running to make sure they don't fall behind."
