The graphics are worse than gamecube. I was looking forward to it, but Bioware lied to us. False advertising for those of us not on Xbox One. Shame on you.

I can't and I won't.  I'll just wait for them to patch some things...

How exactly did they "lie" to you? You bought a game made primarily for "current" gen systems, that was scaled down to even be playable on "last" gen systems. Shame on you really. They didn't have to make ports for last gen systems at all, it's more of a courtesy really and I don't get why you were expecting outstanding groundbreaking graphics that would rival "current" gen systems, as said on your "last" gen system, it's a courtesy Bioware even bothered with that really.

I see. I just thought that the controls on consoles are better since most people who praise the game are playing it using a console. Even metacritic scores on Ps4/Xbone are positive.

THEY ARE better; that is just the opinion of one person.  It doesn't take hours of practice or a PHD to learn how to control the camera.  It's not perfect, but not game breaking.  The ping thing is not good, but compared to all the joy this game brings, I'll live with it.

As far as the Skyrim beautiful landscapes comments, ha!  Probably the worst graphics in relation to popularity of the game in the PS3/360 era.  Compare RE5 that came 4 years earlier to Skyrim, you will ROFL.  I won't comment on the game per say as it is not my cup of tea (FP RPG), but the graphics are just terrible.

I won't insult the person as it could be a monetary reason, and up until I bought DA, I wondered why I forked over $400 for the PS4 (I'm a Sony guy since PS1, though not a blind fanboy).

That said, I was really surprised they released it on last gen; from what I was reading/following of this game, the scale/content and huge size made me think it would be current gen/PC exclusive.  I bought the PS4 in September in anticipation of this game, wanting to play it on the best system possible (excluding PC, of course).

I mean, it is 42gb on PS4, and if you consider most PS3 sold were with a 80gb HDD, even scaled down to 20gb is a big chunk of software for that generation.

The advertisements did not state that the graphics were only decent on next generation consoles. Have you actually played it on the xbox 360? You buy a game believing it to be PLAYABLE. This is not playable at all. It's glitchy as all hell, there is absolutely no rendering - it's literal pixels in places - and they've just left stuff unfinished. Others are complaining of bugs and the inability to even converse with your party members with the 360. What is the point in that? Destiny is designed for both old gen and new gen. The graphics are far superior and it doesn't have the same issues, so to say that it's because it's designed for next gen consoles is frankly a load of toss.

And no, I can't afford to fork out for the XboxOne. If the game was going to be useless for the 360, they should never have released it. They should not have put a price tag of £50 on it. I don't think that's unreasonable.

I'd love nothing more for them to take my Xbox360 copy off my hands.

I'd rather play the Mass Effect Trilogy over for the umpth time.  BW did the PS3/Xbox360 owners wrong.  The game looks horrible.  I get freezing trying to load from an autosave that I have to go back to an actual save to get things loaded which means I lose stuff by going backwards.  I should not get beat down constantly playing on casual.  My load times are over 1 minute.

Should I go on?  The only thing keeping me trying to waddle through this mess is the story.  I have many runs through DA:O and DA2, I'm lucky to get through 1 in DA:I.

At least you can play single player. None of my saves (normal or auto) work, all of them freeze within 10-20 seconds when loaded.

I sympathize with the bugs, but Destiny on next gen do not have good graphics....

The graphics on Destiny compared to DA:I on the xbox 360 are far FAR better.

Wow, you're not that much of an idiot really, are you? People don't play $60 for "courtesy" they pay it for a quality product.

No one was expecting graphics to rival the new consoles but they did expect a competent port that had effort put into it. The X360 and PS3 versions are lazy garbage that are nowhere near worth $60.

I'm about to. It isn't worth my time playing on PC, like Dragon Age SHOULD be played. This was Bioware's shot at redemption in my eyes and they screwed it up. I wouldn't go as far to say that it's unplayable on PC, but it is close to it.

Just curious how many others are so disappointed (doesn't really say it right, more like disappointed and downright furious) that they decided to request a refund?

If you're disappointed enough about a game of this quality to get a refund I wonder what you're going to do if a game turns out to be actually bad - burn down the dev studio?

Seriously guys, get some perspective. They somewhat messed up the PC controls and have some technical issues. Both of which they acknowledged and are promising to fix.

As for the reduced complexity - expected, certainly a pity but it doesn't make this a bad game in any form.

http://www.lazygamer...-be-best-on-pc/

Watch the video

Basically we was shafted...Again. By misleading pre release interviews designed to get our pre order. Hopefully all the refund requests is making them think twice.

They are really making it hard for me to still like them, how hard is it to get a competent game on my platform?

For too long now, PC gamers have been getting the short end of the stick when it comes to PC ports. Games are poorly optimised, lacking the sort of options and features PC gamers expect or are made for controllers, with poor mouse and keyboard support. That won’t be the case with Dragon Age: Inquisition.

According to a new developer diary from Bioware, it looks like console gamers will be the second-rate citizens when it comes to the newest game in the Dragon Age series. Just about the whole game was made with PC gamers in mind first.

This shouldn’t be all that surprising, given that the PC version of Dragon Age: Origins was a PC game that got ported to consoles. The PC version allowed for far more tactical combat than the console versions which were a little more action-oriented. PC gamers were also some of the most vocal about Dragon Age 2’s “dumbing down.” This time, it’s made by PC gamers, for PC gamers.

The developers already said they're listening, and working on releasing a patch. What are you actually voting with your wallet again if they're working on fixing the bugs now? Big games like Skyrim or DAI have a lot of glitches due to the vastness of the world. I personally don't have any problem with the game asides from some counterintuitive gameplay on PC.

they should have had that patch in the game before they released it then.

More Quality Assurance, more testing before releasing an unstable or even unplayable game for some people.

What's so wrong in saying that as a consumer you pay for a stable, working product?

It's like buying a new car that comes out of the garage with only 2 front wheels...would you pay for that or ask for a refund?

I've gotten my refund and it will be a very long time before I ever buy something from Bioware again

They never once said the game was developed for the PC first and foremost. That's your wishful thinking.

Look at the video in this article. Try not to laugh too much, I couldn't stop my self and rolled on the floor.

Ninjaed, Look at Twinklesz post. That's the video I am talking about

On Topic : Luckimy me I trusted my instinct on this one. Knew the combat is going to be mess, and controls are not for pc, they are cosnosle's controls mapped randomly to to 100+ keys  PC keyboard wirhout any afterthought.

Waiting for them to patch it 100% and the game is going to be 10-20$ around that time. Pying fullprice for this .. frankenstain of game's genres, is no no.

And I wantched the game at my frineds x360. Oh man, this is hilarious, like made by some Indide company and as it was their first game ever (seen better looking indie game tbg). I can fire up my PSP and any game I pick has better controls than this "something".

I understand them. You could play all Dragon Age before very good with Keyboard and Mouse. In addition Bioware advertised the Game with "created for the PC Platform".

Played for about 1 hour with k/m and it just didnt work so I changed over to a controller. 5 hours later I realized that no amount of patches will make this game any good at all. The controls and the crappy camera and the few craches I had, thats all irrelevant, because this could be the worst game I've played in years and years. Refunded a game for the first time in my life.

Just arranged for my 360 version to be refunded... What a state the game looked. It was so bad it was distracting. I thought my husband was exaggerating when he told me at first, but it was worse than I thought.

Nope, no refund for me, 17 hours in the game (PC version), love every minute of it, combat took some time to adjust to, but now it seems much more simple to navigate. Minor bugs here and there, but nothing too serious so far. Hope the rest of the game will be just as fun!

So apparently I can request a refund within 2 weeks of placing my order.

Yep. Placed my order less than two weeks ago.

Within a week of the game being released.

Again, it was only released in the UK yesterday.

Within 24 hours of first trying to play the game.

Seriously? My first attempt was just under 29 hours ago. Whatever happened to the "within 2 weeks of placing the order" thing?

Well that's £60 I won't be seeing ever again (about $20 more than my Transatlantic friends were paying for a game they got to play 3 days earlier).

Seriously? Ugh.
