Can someone please spoil for me - which major characters/companions in the game can you kill or get killed through your actions?

Advisors can't be killed, but going by technicality, all your companions can be seen dead, even Lelianna.
Those others are:
Hawke
Cole
Varric
Fiona

That's all I know so far. I feel like Sera may eventually try to kill me since I keep pissing her off. I'll see what happens.

Killing Fiona was...less satisfying then I would have liked.

Agreed, it would have been better if we could have attached her to the trebuchet you're guarding in haven and launched her at the mountain.

Just like when Chief Wiggum launched Rex Banner.

"Send him back to mama, boys."

Same but that was because she was just a boss fight. I wanted to have some dialogue with her or her saying things in the battle.

I know. I had hoped for a cutscene. Some pomp and circumstance.

She still dies. So no matter how technical, she was killed.

I still want to slice her @#&# off and listen to her scream to death.

There's nothing like a situation where you can kill Anders or Fenris, or Wrex in Mass Effect, or kill Shale or Zevran or Alistair in DAO?

Nothing like that. This game won't feed your murderous desires.

He is too old. He needs to die no matter what.

Honestly, the decision between Hawke and Loghain over who'd live and who'd die was the single hardest decision I've ever made in a video game.

I ended up letting Hawke hold the line and Loghain live. The Wardens will need him to rebuild.

If I side with the Templar in Act 1, is there a way to avoid killing Fiona ?

Wait. How does Cole die again? Also when do we see Leliana die? Are you  referring to the time incident?

I am intrigued.

Being that she just kind of shows up in the attack on Haven as a boss fight with no dialogue, I'd assume the answer is "no".

Hawke is useless imbecile anyway. Besides Bioware gives not a **** about age.

I will admit that I didn't find it as easy as I'm letting on though. You don't just spend 40-60 playing one character and then throw her to the wolves.

Why does Hawke die holding the nightmare demon though ? Can't he kick it's ass ?
