With mantle enabled, the game takes a while to get to the menu and when you hit continue to load you game it gets to the point it actually takes 2 mins and stops all GPU loading and ends up disconnecting you for the dragon age servers.  Yet im seeing very little written about this issue.  Is this NOT happening to anyone else?  I also get very low crossfire utilization (load per card) causing low framerates

I have mantle on i7 4790/R 290 and menu is close to instant (<1 sec), and loading times for cross-zone fast travel are about 10 seconds, give or take.

I have Mantle enabled, and I concur that load times are gigantic.

But it's still quicker than Crusader Kings II (where I'll actually play games on my phone to pass the time during load screens), so I don't mind.

Try insatalling the Catalyst 14.11.2 Beta drivers if you haven't already.
