Hello,

 

I need to find Great Bear Pelts for a dalish gathering quest. I know Bear hides drop from the ordinary bears, but I have no idea where to find the greater bears that drop the pelts.

 

Does anyone know where they roam?

I found quite a few in the southeast of the hinterlands, I didn't find any in that area.

I appreciate the help, but there no bears in south-east hinterlands. If you meant the south-west, those are ordinary bears. The ones you hunt for bear claws are quest related and disappear after the quest has been completed.

 

Still completely stuck here. I'm looking for ''Great Bear Pelts'' specfically, and not the "Bear Hides'' item.

I have the same issue. There's lots of bears in The Hinderlands and Storm Coast that drop "bear hides", but I have no idea where I can find the "greater bear pelts. Any suggestions?

Bump. Starting to think this is a genuine bug? I'm L15 so far and no Great Bears to be found anywhere.

Found one wandering in Anduril's Wall just south of Watcher's Reach in Emerald Graves, dropped 5 pelts for me.
