Hi,

 

Hope this is the right forum. I have some questions, that I've looked around for the answers but not having any luck.

 

1. The Digital Deluxe items

 

I'm not sure these are worth an extra $10.  Are these items more of a cosmetic choice in game? Or would the be classed as 'overpowered' compared to the gear you would normally get at the same time/place?

 

I ask as right now there doesn't seem to be all that much info about them (apart from how to get them), so not sure if they are worth spending an extra $10 to get.

 

I remember a lot of the bonus stuff I got in DA2 got replaced fairly quickly (well, the rings and such)... so am a bit hesitant to pay for something I'll just replace in like 30 minutes of the start of the game (well, not 30 min.. but I think you get the idea).

 

2. Dragon Age Keep & Achievements / items from DA:O & DA2

 

Does anyone know just what effect the achievements/items from DAO & DA2 have in DAI with an imported world state?

 

I ask because when I logged into the Keep for the first time it imported all the achievements, and bonus items, from DAO & DA2 into the keep / world state. I haven't gotten all the possible achievements (I do have most).... and wondering if anyone knows just what effect they have on DAI.

The weapon is nice and very handy to have. The Armour is nice , good stats for the start and  then schematics make it better (but It's not a shiny anymore) the throne is nice and the mounts are nice.

- So the weapons & armor are basically just boosted starter items?

 

- The mounts & throne, do they serve a purpose, or just cosmetic differences to what you would normally get access to?

 

Since Hawke from DA2 would be an NPC (?) in DAI, you can customize them? Or is this heading into spoiler territory?

 

But apart from that, the import of items does nothing else?

And the DAO & DA2 achievment's? Just for fluff and serve's no real purpose?

Thrones serve no purpose other than decoration and judgement. Mounts are useful when you are bored of walking.

 

Weapons are boosted (slightly) then you get the schematics for them and can make them more badass later

I got the digital deluxe edition just for the soundtrack. That alone has been worth the extra $10. The rest is just an added bonus for me.
