And yes, Origin is online.  I've tried logging out and back in...

you tried starting Origin as Admin? restarting computer? uninstalling an re-installing origin?

Haven't tried starting Origin as admin yet, restarted computer, restarted Origin a few times...will try running as admin.

Running as admin doesn't work, not a happy panda...I can't play with a default world state...

yeah neither would i, try a fresh install, it dont uninstall the games so nothing to worry from that department

Actually I installed Origin fresh the other day after my new mobo/cpu went in...

I Closed down the origins session and then clicked on the DAI desktop icon which started a new Origins session and the problem went away

I tried that a couple of times but it didn't work for me, the Origin re-install did though!
