(This may be a long post about how my situation for the game sucks, this contains spoilers so please do not read if you have not finished the game)

Let me start by saying that I am a complete and utter Dragon Age fan-boy, I have a regular copy of DA: O on my Xbox 360 and I ended up buying the ultimate edition for $60 at Wal-Mart when I could've gotten it for 26 at Gamestop if I waited a few days. I also have it on Steam and Origin (the Origin one was free though) and I have DA 2 for 360 and my computer. I've always bought Bioware's games, I have KOTOR 1 and 2, each Mass Effect, Baulder's Gate and a whole bunch of others.

Leading up to the topic, I had $61 and could not pay the sales tax for Inquisition (which I have been dyyyyying to play) so being desperate I went to Greenmangaming (a good site for games) but they do not accept refunds. Apparently you have to have a quad core CPU (which being me, I paid too much attention to everything else about the over-hyped crap about the game to realize it said this) so I cannot play it OR get a refund. So now I apparently have to get a new frickin computer to play this game which is disappointing too and on top of the that it seems a lot of other people are having problems with it too so thank you Bioware for releasing something that is crap for some of us. (If anyone is wondering I went to a friend's and played the game with him)

Now onto the game itself (this is where spoilers come in everyone), really Bioware? You basically do what you did with Mass Effect 2 where the DLC mattered more than the actual game. What I mean by that is, in the Arrival DLC, you slow down the Reapers and it has more to do with Mass Effect 3 than the plot of ME 2 did. In Dragon Age 2, we have the Legacy DLC, where in the end we defeat Corypheus who is apparently the big bad in Inquisition, the DLC itself was more important to the plot of Inquisition than the actual game! I was expecting Corypheus to appear but for him to be only minor and the game would be better but noooooooo. The end wasn't climatic or anything, just the same crap over and over where I mash a button (it could be argued that each Dragon Age is like that but this one felt so lazy to me). The story just feels so weak to me, nothing really felt like it affected the game in anyway. Also, Bioware tries to bring back characters as a sort of homage to the old ones but it still didn't feel the same, in Mass Effect they were all Shepard's friends but in Inquisition they are just people who you encounter. Inquisition is just pretty to look at and that is about it, characters are pretty lifeless to me except for the occasional funny or nice moment like Cassandra and Varric's book moment, the story is weak as is the ending, and once again Corypheus, really? You could've had it so he was minor or he was worshiping Dumat or i don't care, but instead he does not care about them anymore and in the end he basically asks any God's for help, just contradicting himself (this could be good character development if this was A Song of Ice and Fire but it is not) This game just to me reminds me of a failed Mass Effect 3, gather allies and fight the big bad while enjoying those moments where you see old friends and allies. And really, Fen'Harel is Solas? Fen'Harel would have made more sense as the main enemy but instead it is just Solas (honestly this doesn't really bother me but it seems like a waste of potential) and then absorbing Flemeth or whatever, we could have had Fen'Harel trying to take over and Flemeth was helping us stop him but instead we get some DLC boss as our enemy, I am just disappointed.

I was so excited Bioware but the quad core requirement and the story itself and how it just drags on and on (which is good or bad depending on how you look at it), all you guys have done is disappointing. I am done with all of you at EAware and will find another developer to rely on for entertainment.
