So I wasn't quite sure where to put this but I just wanted to know do your choices from your last games actually affect the ingame enemies/allies equation for the mage vs. templar struggle or are they both just still your enemies because you are neutral?

I'm asking because near hinderlands not too far from the camp there are two mage knight/spellsword echanters who attacked me, so I killed them. Right after when I went back to refill my potions and cameback they had respawned, so I presumed to follow... Followed one downnear the wall when out of nowhere he got ganked by two templars--which honestly I had thought it was only one because that was all I saw due to the tree--but I jumped in and attacked him before realizing it ended up being 3 on 1 and he had has mage friend with who promptly shouted at me with a loud "You Ass!" in which that shocked me while I killed him and the templars too. But after that it's stayed on my mind where the mages my allies in that fight or enemies because they're circle i think was blue and the others was red i think?

And my past games I had sided with the mages, except this is a new hero so technically it shouldn't apply to her right?

Just confused...
