Am I missing something here?
Lately I've been able to clear stage 5 on routine pretty regularly and the reward doesn't seem all the great. I feel like the amount of bonus gold is a lot less than what you would get on the other stages when you factor in all the loot drops. No items either.
I've only beaten it on routine though, does anyone know if this changes on the higher difficulties?
Seems like it would be more efficient to just wipe so you can start the next game faster.
After you unlock a lot of classes, gold becomes less important than exp and stage 5 can give quite a bit of that. But I do agree that the payout could be higher.
I've only tried Threatening once on my (then) 14 Assassin, in a PUG. The amount of XP just getting though the first 3 zones was easily double a full clear on Routine. The run I did didn't have a lot of treasure rooms and we still walked away with 600g through the first 3 zones, so the reward (assuming you can make it at least 1/2 through) is certainly worth it.
What is happening here? A volus gathering?
I played on Silver(zone 2 or3 wipe-Tibo can correct me) and my lv 1 Archer rose to lv 6.But without good gear,that difficulty is pretty damn hard.

I have a different set of memories. I think we finished brilliantly the wave 5, with all our kits level 1. Oh, and we only used the Shuriken.
