I know how to unlock the classes.. .I have 9 of them unlocked at this moment.  I also understand how to attach upgrades to the armor, as it does not seem possible to craft the armor upgrades (unlike weapons) and must use the items gained from chests.

 

But how do we upgrade the armor itself?  

 

For example... My Elementalist.  He had his normal Elementalist Robes (abyssal, tempest etc), then he has his Master Elementalist robes. 

 

Now my elementalist is wearing the Master Elementalist Robes (Abyssal) which he ironically looted,  but the only options I have to craft a new suit of armor is not an upgrade.  

 

I seek the knowledge of those who have already passed through these gates, as information seems to be non-existent at this juncture.
