I found her romance scenes to be fun. Though the duel scene was better then the fire place...announcing love in the middle of a city ..
But been kinda glad not all the scenes had nudity and such for each ad every romance.
Does Josephine have a sex scene? (Spoilers)

She has a sexscene, you just dont see anything... I really dont get it. Too many horny people asking for sex in a fantasy roleplaying game. Why not google for sex scenes?

I take it she doesn't have a graphic sex scene then?
That's nice... it's sort of reminiscent of Japanese games and their more chaste kinds of romances. I don't mean that as a statement against graphic sex scenes but I can hardly see how it would be objectionable (or perhaps beneficial) to not have that going on necessarily.

She doesn't have one at all.
There is some suggestive dialogue and at the end of the game they sneak off into the bedroom, before it fades to black. Sex is suggested IMO, you just don't get a scene.

No one made it yet. She has a sexscene, you just dont see anything... It's like saying Cory attacks skyhold you just don't see it. Or do you like if we don't fight Cory just get implied we defeated him. I really dont get it. So many people afraid naked body? I thought this is game for adults but we get Disney romance for 7 years old.

Josephine is a Disney princesses. Disney Princesses do not have sex scenes, they have the power to delude their future partner into an illusory happily ever after relationship with either a duel or a song.
IMO, Josephine should not have been a romance option. The romance arc was way too cheesy and like The Dawn Will Come song, feel contrived and out of place in a dark mature fantasy, Game-of-Thrones style video game (at least that is what DA was until it got diluted and watered). I would have actually preferred to have Vivienne as a love interest.
I mean Vivienne is a cold and calculating politician with a Gone Girl-esque style. She did or was highly suspected or murdering her husband for more power. The Inquisitor is the deal when it comes to power in Thedas. It would have certainly made for a more interesting romance arc.

Classic case of Bioware losing their niche and trying to appeal to everyone. I mean, previous female love interests were all dark characters in some way. Morrigan is amoral. Leliana was and can again become a cold hearted spy. Isabela is a pirate ****. Merrill is a blood mage.
Then now we get this "I-only-pushed-a-guy-down-a-stairs-and-turned-to-a-new-leaf" Disney Princess. I will wager for future DLCs, the content we will get for Josephine will involve Disney-esque song singing.

O/T but Vivienne didn't murder the Duke of Ghislain. She was tying to save him, and just failed. That scene was meant to show a softer side of her and that there was more to her than just endless scheming & the Game. She seemed to genuinely care for him, or at least as much as she was able.

Guy gets married, carries his wife over the threshold, takes her to the fabulous bed they bought together, and then holds her hand and hugs her for 15 minutes. When she finally gets annoyed and asks him to take it further, he looks at her in disgust and says "If you want sex, just go download some porn!"

No visual sex...
Then why not write a Josephine erotica fanfiction?
You can put as much smut in it as you like. Problem solved.

First off, I've been a Bioware fan for as long as they have existed, and I certainly don't think they've lost their niche. You're entitled to your opinion, but that's all it is.
Secondly, I'd love to see a DLC filled with musical numbers. In fact, I bet the writers at Bioware could write a fantastic musical if they were given the chance. Just think of how much more epic the ending would have been if it had played out in a musical number.
If any writer at Bioware reads this: song and dance DLC. Make it so!

She does. You have to max out her hidden approval meter and always go for the ruthless options in her quests. Then you'll get her sex scene.

I'd pay twenty bucks for this. Mordin's Gilbert and Sullivan bit is still my favorite moment in the Mass Effect series.

Aerie
Dawn Star
Liara
Having a "good girl" LI option is more a return to Bioware's old ways.
Also, VIvienne tried to save her duke. Otherwise why bother to send the Inquisitor to get that particular ingredient? Any old heart would do. Or even leave it out altogether.

Ehh I don't know for sure, in my experience the exclusive hard to get types who don't take their clothes off easily often prove fairly desirable, at least in just a very generic and general sense.
Equating the "dark mature fantasy" with graphic sex or ability to murder someone doesn't really fit to me also.. considering all the possibilities. I would think 'dark mature fantasy' just means relationship based instead of high cheeseball Tolkien war-battling for glory stuff.
Having a "good girl" LI option is more a return to Bioware's old ways.
Also there is this going on... Baldur's Gate characters were all pretty tame in the romantic aspects, I mean there were no sex scenes at all, for anyone. The "I'm so edgy come at me bro" style with characters like Vivienne doesn't really resonate nearly as much as the Hey-A, it's me Imoen! girl next door kind of approach, IMO. They were nice, at times.
Although I'd have to say they're edgier characters were somewhat frequent also, Viconia, Edwin, etc.

I think it tells a lot about people who spam forums and my Josie romance video on youtube with comments like:
Where are the tiits? Where is the sex?
Maybe you should try to get out more in real life and meet a real woman instead of *faping* in a game. :-)
Just a idea maybe? ![]()

Well, there was sex. I mean, Aerie gets pregnant. And it's pretty clear what Charname and Viconia get up to. But yeah, it was all done with text, not cinematic cutscens.
Yeah, pixel T&A was not seen as a must-have for a "proper romance"

Josephine is too innocent/proper for a full-blown nudity scene. I agree with BioWare's choice not to include a visual sex scene with her.
Not saying I'd hate it if they did, but of all the romances they offer I can definitely see how/why Josephine stands apart.

Well not BG1 at any rate, I would think. Honestly I never really unlocked anything other than the Viconia mance because it was more obscure and hidden how to get those things going, as they were more integrated into the game overall.
I still don't understand what wrong with having sex scenes in a rated 18 game. Its not like they are hardcore porn anyway...

I think that requires actually ignoring some of the dialogue and character interaction on screen though. After defeating Corypheus its implied in my opinion, that the Inquisitor & Josephine did more than chat in the bedroom. There is potentially suggestive dialogue leading up to it (before the final battle the Inquisitor can tell Josephine he/she can't wait to get her alone later), and later during the party the two of them sneak off into the bedroom giggling like a couple of teenagers.
Well, I argue that it is near sunrise while that party is happening. It is the middle of th afternoon when Corypheus issues you a challenge by re-opening the Breach, yet it is late at night by the time you get there suggesting a travel time of a few to several hours. Then consider the fight takes place say an hour in lore and the few to several hour travel back, and it must be near dawn. As for the dialogue in the Arbor Wilds, that is one of three options. Ignoring that it can be taken multiple ways, that can also go under the player determining how physically intimate they are which was the writer's intent. She left it ambiguous on purpose so those who want to imagine them being lovers can and those who want to imagine them as not having sex for whatever reason can as well. So I'm not saying you are wrong, but actually that any interpretation is correct. It's like the Schrodinger's paradox of romances.
