This is the third time ive had to start over, spent all this time making my character, and then i get in game and it doesn't look right.

But the worst is the facial expressions, apparently i adjusted my characters face to much because now when any dialog involves a smile the teeth completely clip through the lips and my character just looks like a talking zombie. A previous character would always have his eyes roll into his skull because his eye lids where wonky.

I dont even understand how this is possible, the character creator is extremely restrictive as it is, how is it when i create a character with in the min and max values the game allows i still get bugs like this, where my character is clipping through his own flesh.

Is there a command for this, i seriously dont feel like doing the hinterlands a 4th time.

There is no way to re-customize yoiur character, yet there appears to be high demand for this, I don't know why Bioware hasn't made any comments concerning concrete plans for this yet.

They'll probably charge for it down the line some time as part of an overpriced DLC package.

I'm having the same issue with my elf, I made it past the intro of the game and realized that his teeth are sticking out a bit. Any way to recustomize even just his lips would be greatly appreciated. I also have a human warrior that I got pretty far into the game with, however he doesn't look as I'd like him too. It was only bugging me a bit, but after seeing some of the characters that others have created, it really makes me wish I woudl have spent more time on my characters. I'm really hoping that Bioware finds some way to work this out, since we don't seem to be the only ones who would appreciate a feature like the Mirror in Dragon Age 2. It's bugging me to that point that, sadly to say, I'd pay for a DLC pack that added some type of recustomize feature.

Same problem.  I made what looked like sound decisions in the character creator and when I hit the actual game... Wow. I need that mirror from the black emporium asap or I'm gonna have to restart AGAIN. That or I need the ability to flash through the first part of the game.

I'm so glad they listened when we asked if we could have a normal lighting and background  for our characters...the funny colors and lighting are very distorting as they have been in every game prior.  Why can't it just be some normal/generic background from the game??? A stone wall with the inquisitor's seal engraved on it wouldn't have been difficult. Some random piece of scenery from the game like the mountains in the Hinterlands.

I had this problem too, I made a human mage that looked BOSS.

But that patehetic look at the start he gives made him look really REALLY bad, puppy dog eyes do not work for this guy.

I can't stop staring at his MASSIVE forehead and weird eyebrows.

I don't even remember how many times I was starting this game... Many, many, many which is not funny. Eyes were too bright many times.

Black Emporium-like DLC would be very good and I'll pay for it with smile on my face. My character looks good (Male Elf) right now, but I'm going to play DA:I again in the future.

We all know how EA loves to drain our money making thousands of DLCs. I think that BioWare will make something for players like us. -.^

I think they said a while ago that they will look into it, along with face codes in the future.

Hopefully it will also come with much needed hair pack/update. If they do that plus make the Inquisitors clothes recolorable, I'd pay for that. @_@

On the topic of clothes, it'd be great to be able to copy the look of armor onto another (like many MMOs do). Some armor looks awesome, other armor looks like poo.

Yeah I really need this.  Restarted once to fix face, and got most things right, but didn't notice some hair/ear clipping until a few hours in.  Didn't want to start over again, figured I could ignore it, but now it's like the only thing I see in every screenshot I take.  After 20+ hours I'm not starting over again but man what I wouldn't give for the mirror from DA2 so I could fix it.

I'd love this, too, though it wouldn't come out in time for me. I chose the gray male elf head because I liked the shape and made a good-looking elf. What I failed to realize was that the makeup settings were on, so now I have a swarthy David Bowie, which isn't as great as it sounds. It didn't really dawn on me until I got further into the game, too far to go back.

If they thought about it at all they would have added option to re-visit char creator screen after finishing tutorial or after Dragon Age inquisition letters roll out. That would give us plenty of time to decide if we want to change something.

I support the movement for a Black Emporium mirror and lots of new hair/beardstyles - even SWTOR had more and better options... :(

I love Bioware's games but they have never been strong on the CC front - the amount of awful hair options (and static hair too) plus just how hard it is to make a character look "decent" without it coming out strange in game due to lighting, the sliders, etc.

I'd at least like to see them 1) Do something like the Black Emporium from DA2 2) Allow us to use face codes like ME2/ME3 which was fantastic.

I fully support a Black Emporium style mirror. I'm 20 hours in and with each passing hour hate how my Inquisitor looks more and more, but I'm not starting again for the third time.

+1 for mirror! :D

Respect bro. I wasn't strong enough and restarted my game after 20 hours of playing...

You think you guys are hardcore?  I started over after a 30 hour play through because I didn't like the way my male elf looked like some weird hybrid between Daniel Craig and Zach Braff.

And then I restarted again.  And again.  ....And again.

I literally cannot make a handsome male elf for the life of me.

Facing the same problem with my elf-missy, although it's only noticeable when she is making certain expressions in conversations - smiles in particular.

While that is rather rare, I would indeed appreciate readjusting this after the fact (preview in CC of facial expressions may help spotting such oddities, at that).

Hopefully not. DA2 featured just such a thing with Black Emporium, free of charge.

Due to this very reason, I feel it would have been nice to have an iconic look for each race, similar to Shepard for Mass Effect.
