Master Chief.
No really. From a lore standpoint Master Chief would easily win from Shepard... They are both smart but Master Chief is way stronger and faster. Shepard is, after all, simply human. Master Chief is a super soldier.

Straight/Canon Shepard vs Master Chief?

Master Chief unfortunatly.... Mostly because he's a Freaking Giant and a Cyborg... and Strong enough too flip vehicles over...



If on the other hand your on about a Custom Shepard... Then any Biotic would likly kick the S*** outta Master Chief...

Me said no hand-to-hand, so that makes them about equal. From a fluff perspective, then yes, those Spartans are supposedly god-like, like in that one Halo Wars cut-scene I saw on youtube, but from what we see of Master Chief in-game, I'd say they're about equal.

Now, if you wanna REALLY up the ante, you pit them both against a single WH40k space marine. ^^

And there's the fact that they don't take much fall damage... To be honest I think Shepard would be crushed in any battle... perhaps a very powerful Sentinel that can lift him up, disable his weaponry and shields through tech powers, and has a **** load of firepower like the Nuke gun would work...

Spartans are still superior. Space Marines are not nearly as agile nor do they have rechargeable shields. 

Oh, just to be clear, Mass Effect Universe > Warhammer 40.000 Universe > Halo Universe, love all three but that's just how it goes for me... regardless I'd say Spartans are superior.

Well, A spartan can survive an orbital drop insertion (Basically they can jump out of Pelicans and survive the fall without any parachute or anything. They just slam into the earth )



Unlike a certain SOMEONE who is found burnt to crisp on a planet's surface and is forced to have reconstruction for 2 damn years

So are the Geths. Biotics have no trouble lifting them.

Master Chief is a little whiny pushover compared to Shepard.....he'd probably die the instant he saw Shepard simply because he couldn't handle seeing that much awesomeness.

But again, a 40k marine would eat them both for breakfast. If he's a librarian as well, he even has biotic-like powers, only much more devastating.

Shepard would kill him with a singularity if he was biotic. But if you're talking equal equipment, then Shep I'm afraid. Shep has shields as well, so there is that bonus gone. His armour is pretty much as good as MC's without the need for him to be all "LOL SUPARHUMIE!", his weapons are actually better.... so yeah, Shepard, any way you look at it.



Plus, the Halo games are over-hyped garbage. The first was okay, the second was meh, the third was.... disappointing. And the story was **** and yawntastic.

If he were a soldier Shep, the Chief would win. But if Shepard was a Biotic or had tech abilities then victory would be his.

You can knock over a geth with a melee strike... I don't know, they don't seem very heavy. (Well alright, the colossus and prime versions probably are)

And a Geth doesn't survive falling from a freaking ship onto Earth!

Space marines are even more agile than spartans. it's not called power armor for nothing. Rechargable shields that are ripped apart by a measly shotgun blast? Pfft. Space marines also have experience dealing with shields.  FOR THE EMPRAH!

He said a single spartan, not a whole battlestation. That's like if the space marine were to summon up Khorne to fight on his behalf.
