Shepard Vs Master Chief

And to the person who said about Spartans doing orbital drops in person - yeah, that'd be great if it was in any way remotely realistic. But it's not, MC shoulda ended up as a crispy fried splat on the landscape with 90% less mass than he entered the atmosphere with. You can't compare something that leaves realism bleeding in the gutter with something that is comparitively more realistic.

And if Shepard has Biotic or Tech abilities? Chief would get his butt kicked. I reckon Shepard could hold his ground against a Spartan in CQC though, N7's would have a lot of martial training. Spartan's are seemingly only trained to jump really high.

Any Biotic Shep would wipe the floor with him. Just lift him up and throw him away.
Infiltrator Shep would just cloak up behind him and put the sniper rifle to Chief's head...End of story

It would require a powerful biotic to lift up a Spartan. Those are heavy.
And there's the fact that they don't take much fall damage... To be honest I think Shepard would be crushed in any battle... perhaps a very powerful Sentinel that can lift him up, disable his weaponry and shields through tech powers, and has a **** load of firepower like the Nuke gun would work...
You can knock over a geth with a melee strike... I don't know, they don't seem very heavy. (Well alright, the colossus and prime versions probably are)
And a Geth doesn't survive falling from a freaking ship onto Earth!

From an objective point of view, Shepard is basically peak-human, while Master Chief is a super-soldier cyborg with enhanced everything.

You know....now that I think about it you are 100% right. But then again I haven't been shot in the head nearly enough times to think that playing as a Soldier is a good idea.

Well I wasn't talking about pods. They do indeed get dropped in pods in normal situations.
You know... They should make a game about it... make it a RTS I say.
Space Marines, UNSC and the Alliance in an epic face-off for fake-universe-domination.

Shepard: He's just a very god soldier put in armor With shields. No enchancements.
Master chief: Very good soldier put in armorwith shields. His body is enchanced in every way. His Strength, His vision...
MC would win.

Tech Shepard vs Master Chief - Sabotage + Overload MC's without weapons or shields Shepard for the win though it'd be close.

Mass Effect 2 Soldier Shepard: Adrenaline Rush, Concussive Shot, Disruptor/Cryo/Incendiary Ammo, Optical Implants
vs
Master Chief: Eh, well, I'm a genetically enhanced cyborg, lolk?
Sorry, no contest. Either game, Shepard would shoot Master Chief dead before he had worn away Shep's shields.
Totally agree Kaincry.

I still think that biotics won't win from Master Chief. He can probably outlast most of it until the biotic becomes exhausted.
Though we shouldn't be comparing gameplay aspects in this... a biotic can throw abilities endlessly in Mass Effect though in regular situations it would require a lot of energy and you'll most likely be tired after a short while.
And saying Shepard would win because you hate Halo is just silly.
That's like saying Nuclear Warheads wouldn't win from an army equipped with Assault Rifles because you think Nuclear Warheads are lame.

Actually, Shepard (any any other marine in the Alliance) has undergone gene therapy. It's the reason humans live till they're 150 in the MEverse. So he's definitely not your average 21th century human.LOLsarenLOL wrote...

Now, if you wanna REALLY up the ante, you pit them both against a single WH40k space marine. ^^
Can't the Space Marines take over an entire planet with a single squad consisting of like 10 troops?
I'm not really up to date with the 40K lore but I remember it was something absurd like that.
Love the 40K universe though.

How? You can lift Geth Destroyers/Juggernauts, and they definitely way more than Mrs "I'm a complete and utter
Mary Sue" Spartan-117. Plus, singularity. Blackholes still work on master chief, I'm afraid. Warp, Throw, Lift, Stasis. All these would work on him. Biotics would wipe the floor with him and then some.

That's

Not really, 117 isn't a nuclear warhead if you read the fiction (the games make him uber to appeal to the console kiddies), at best he's an assault rifle with an extended mag and a sight, to play to your analogy. Unfortunately for him, so is Shepard (again, in the codex and fiction. Alliance Marines get gene therapy, and enhancements, and the ones included in ME2 from Project Lazarus...). And unfortunately for 117, that makes it a fair fight, and because of the tech abilities that even ordinary soldier Shepard's have (They can do everything 117 can and then some)... they'd win. SImple as that.

As I said, that's more gameplay mechanics. You won't be seeing a biotic throw all those abilities endlessly in a regular situation.
**** it. I'm throwing the C'tan card in. Go beat that.
