Someone said the dragon is Crestwood dropped it, however, I got the Inquisitors Hat instead (for mages).

 

Hope I find it soon because I'm running out of dragons to kill T_T

Just found it at last!

 

It was in a loot box on the wall above the main-gate of the Western Approach Fortress. It's hidden behind a metal errr... stand/defense wall on the battlements.

Western Approach Fortress huh? My next personal goal is to get that helm. I need it. When does the Approach open up?

Does anyone know where to find the armor itself? The one with the tall collar (for mages) that they've showed off in literally every gameplay trailer.

 

They did the same thing with the Champion armor in DA2 and it ended up being something that you couldn't get until the last hour of the game.

I think that the armor would be the tier 3 schematics the easiest (laziest) way to get them would be to uses your inquisition perks in the forces tree to get the mage/rogue/warrior schematics other then that check with shops that sell schematics i would assume they start showing up closer to the the end game or keep a eye out in map locations that open up closer to the end.

After a quest regarding Grey Wardens if I recall correctly. Btw, it's in Orlais on the world map.

 

It's a lvl 11-ish area.
