I need either nugskin or ramskin. Killed plenty of both animals, but get no hide. I cannot loot them (they do not respond to the interact button or right-clicking).
Do I need a special tool or something first? Is there a unique control? Do the gods simply hate me?
EDIT: This time I killed a nug with basic attacks (previously I was using Twin Fangs because it was a good closer) and could loot it like any other source. Do I seriously have to kill with basic attacks every time..?! That's pretty silly.
Alternatively, are 90% of nugs and rams not made skin and simply don't drop anything? What the hell are they made of?! This isn't an MMO, you don't need Skinner boxes to keep us paying subscriptions.
