If one mage specs into Rejuvenating Barrier, and the other mage casts barrier, will everyone still get the mana regen bonus?

From my limited observations so far, I think the answer is no.

pretty sure they don't stack, even if they have different effects.

Hmm, not asking for the purpose of stacking, I would never waste a second cast of barrier while the first is still active, anyway.

Oh, are you asking which effect has priority? I think it's whichever you cast first.

To be more specific, I was looking at good passives to go along with a Knight Enchanter/Fire build since I'll have a barrier up most of the time to benefit from extra regen. Then I thought well why get the skill myself if my other mage who is more support oriented can get the passive. My gut tells me that I wouldn't benefit from extra regen if my other mage got the passive and I was creating my own barriers. Seems too strong. It's just that the skill is vaguely worded and doesn't specify that only barriers created by the passive wielder grants the regen bonus.

I understand your question, but I don't have an answer.

The wording suggests that if one mage in the party has it, all mage's barriers benefit.

But that seems unlikely, as you say... too strong. Probably poor wording.

I am pretty sure that the regen only works if the mage that cast the barrier has that passive. I tested it for a few minutes by casting blizzard on my inquisitor out of combat to drain mana, then casting barrier with inquisitor without passive. I studied the regen rate and noticed it looked the same. I then cast barrier with Viv who has the passive and the regen looked a bit faster. I did this a few times. Pretty sure it just has poor wording.

No the thing is the skill description says that it would let whoever in the party to have accelerated mana/stamina regen when they have active barrier. I think this is just another misleading description, and the skill only works when the mage with the skill casts barrier on themselves.

Another question would be, does it only work if the barrier is cast, or does it go for auto barriers generated by Fade Shield/Guardian Spirit too?

I would expect it to work (i.e. once a character has the ability it ought to work for all barriers generated by him), but would be good to get it confirmed.

I assumed it would, but to be honest it wouldn't be the first thing I'd assumed to work when in fact there is a major caveat that isn't stated in the description. The fact that the Fear effect on flashfire disappears if the target is damaged is a good example.

I'm also hearing that the spirit blade upgrade adds a 100% boost to spirit blade's listed base attack?
