I was wondering if i need to play my adept again to save John the corporate man on feros i did not have enough paragon points to convenience John to put is gun down. so i shot him will it play into ME 2

You mean the ExoGeni rep. Ethan Jeong? Well if you kill him ExoGeni will stop funding the colony which means they'll have to fend for themselves. If you convince/intimidate him he can convince the higher ups to increase the funding using the colony for some major PR as in "They survived a Geth attack'. And that might have an effect on ME2 if you can go back to Feros that is.
