Approximation of the dialogue

 

Hunter: "When it is all over I hope I will have a little house with a small veggie garden by it"

Keeper: "And what? An ELF to attend it, right?!?!?"

 

 

Jesus effing Christ, he just wants a small garden to make himself a salad every once in a while, it doesn't make him racist you stupid brainless drone.

 

Anyone else finding the Keeper dialogue and appearance entirely off-putting? Is she the only class with the barrier? If it is so, then BioWare, I am in dire need of the party banter off/on button or a mage with a Barrier and likeable personality.

I read that as "panty on/off" but then I remembered the Keeper is a guy

I know that the elementalist gets barrier near the bottom of one of his trees, I got barrier at I think level 8, and I got a few other skills first. I'd also be willing to bet that the arcane warrior also gets barrier at some point, so I wouldn't worry about it.

i hate her, she does not stop talking.

Seriously, among all other characters, she is most chatty, and normally outputting some her Mitharu or elven crap all the time. 

 

2nd most annoying thing is "When i was in Deep roads, i held the group of darkspawn for 2 days" 

I hear this several times per run. Corbin is quite cocky person.

 

I love Luka being silent and what i hearing from her is mainly explosion sounds and dagger swinging.

I don't like the way most of the female characters look, something about their face and or hair always bug me

they could do much more fine art for everyone, like they did in SP. Hell, invest more in MP character backgrounds. And their look. I find those characters do not have proper look: Archer, Keeper, face of necromancer.

The faces are just ugly.

Isn`t the "Deeproads comment" actually from the legionarie? Would make more sense, and try playing with a second one in the same team, he will comment something along the line of "funny i thougt that was me" so.... OP  maybe you want to complain about that one to.

 

Anyway you could just set the Dialog-Volume to zero to actually mute/get  rid off the party banter, at the cost off missing the party-commands (the one activated with f1 to f4)

 

Concentrate more on the good things in MP, for me it´s just awesome

What's odd is how unrealistic she is.  Most women who are that angry and negative toward everyone are usually anywhere from ugly to attractive. But the Keeper...

 

The Keeper not only looks like a man.. she looks like an ugly man.  Coming from a dude, that's a serious level of wtf happened to your face/hair/jawline/I'm sorry your developers made your face looks like Andre the giant's.

To be frank, BioWare cannot into women recently, see ME3 Ashley. Or compare DA2 and DA:I Cassandras.

The best thing about that Deep Roads comment is when you also have the Qunari in the party. His response of "Couldn't they just step over you?" is absolutely hilarious!

I've been able to tune out the dialogue so far
But I could see people wanting an off button
Personally I think the whole banter thing was a mistake for MP
I put over 1000 hrs into ME3MP if I'm looking at the same time commitment here I'm sure I'll get annoyed with the banter too

The Keeper is incredibly bigoted towards the other members of the party, I mean I can understand having a strong sense of cultural self-worth, but her attitude towards the other people, her generalization of their cultures, and blind assumptions is no different than the slights the Dalish sometimes receive. In fact, her elitist, 'holier than thou' stance with others is probably generating more racial/cultural tensions.

 

And people wonder why I sided with the Werewolves 

 

 

Anyway, since we are on the subject of DAMP character personalities, does anyone else find Hall the Archer to be incredibly depressed? Some of his lines make me think that he is just a slight nudge away from suicide

The Necromancer planing to use the Archer's corpse for something, and the Alchemist being ….. the Alchemist.

 

 

I actually thought the Alchemist's and Assassin's interaction was pretty funny; and luckily, I have only heard this particular exchange only once so far.

 

Assassin: "I had a parakeet, it was blue, and it died."

 

Alchemist: "That's horrible! It died of sadness?!"

All keepers are idiots (Especially that dumb as a rock Velanna), it's some kind of dalish rule.  In each of the previous games and in one of the books the keeper manages to get their whole clan killed off by meddling with Demons and such.

Each one says something different about this. Corbin advise to cook em in the ale, while Argent notes that she can make nice poisons from Deep Mooshrooms.

The Necromancer is also elitist, but she comes across far more approachable/likable than the Keeper does. She also doesn't continuously try to play the 'race card' (almost) every time she opens her mouth.
