This made me lol at work. All things considered, though, Hall is more likable than most of the MP characters.

I actually thought the Alchemist's and Assassin's interaction was pretty funny; and luckily, I have only heard this particular exchange only once so far.

Assassin: "I had a parakeet, it was blue, and it died."

Alchemist: "That's horrible! It died of sadness?!"

Really? I've only ever heard awkward silence in response. She always says it in treasure rooms for some reason...

On a related note, am I the only one who always wants to give the Asassin a hug when she says that line? She just sounds so sad...

So I think we can all agree that no one wants to get into the Keeper's pants, regardless of whether the Keeper is a man or a woman.

I thought these posts were a little overblown as I had always planned to play Keeper, liked the character concept when the cards were revealed at cons this summer... After playing for quite a while last night I agree... Most of her dialogue can be read as insults or back-handed complements. It's a shame because I really like the (Welsh?) voice actor and the gameplay/party role. Is there any way she could be more Merrill and less Velanna? BIOWER PLOX NERF MA KEEPAS WORDS

Eh, the MP characters span a variety of personalities and relationships with each other.  They are thrown together out of work and necessity, not because they like one another.  I personally like that there are more abrasive characters that give more friction to character dynamics.  I'm also sure that if the Keeper was a dude Qunari being rude and blunt there would be less complaints about it.

Perhaps you are right. I like that there is personality variety also, just not sure that Keepers' is the right mix yet. I don't mind a little snark and condescension as long as it is better tempered with humor. I Would like something more Doc Cottle or Bones, from the eponymous TV show. Right now Neria seems more like Lucy from Peanuts.

PS Any one trying out the Keeper in PUGs, Barrier is great when cast on the whole group, not just on you... Could even be the reason for the class design... So please cast it on your tanks and gravely injured teammates... You just might make it past wave 3 on Routine if you do... The More You Know!

PPS, Sorry if that seemed like a snarky rant, but had too many PUGs last night where I switched from Keeper to fill missing class, but Level 8 plus Keepers did not seem to know how to "Keep".

If you were in my team, and you managed to stick with the party I would Barrier yah... Cuz dwarves are cool, gingers are cool and Casteless face ink... Pretty cool!
