I have this issue of 3 melee trying to get into a spot before executing an ability, e.g. twin fang, mighty strike and shield bash, and as a result, the primer goes off before either one of them executed the ability. They just keep running into each other. It's like this 3 melee is trying to fight for the sweet spot to execute the ability.

I mean cant they just execute it "on spot" when I pressed the ability!?

Do you guys have this issue?

So if we hit left mouse button in any random location, we'll pointlessly swing our weapon at nothing...

But if you try to activate an ability, it won't work unless it's in a specific location.

Yep, that sounds about right.

Yes, I have been frustrated by this issue too, plenty of times with just two melees (my inquisitor as a dual-wielding rogue and Cass as the tank) -- or even just one! I think the problem is that hitboxes are just a bit too small, too unforgiving especially considering the sometimes notably lacking pathfinding.

Example: I was fighting a big dragon yesterday and stuck my inquisitor on its right hindleg. A significant number of special attacks failed to execute because my PC kept running into the dragon itself, somehow unable to find a path to her target (which was perfectly clear). Throw in the issue that sometimes special attacks just miraculously fail to activate and you end up with a very frustrating melee experience.

Sheesh, that's the kind of problem you see in low budget, indie game...

Not good at all.
