The sleepless nights, the long weekends away from your families and friends.  The time spent away from your children.

Thank you for the human stories, the epic tales, the memorable characters. 

 

Thank you for the incredible world, full of life and wonder.

Thank you for hands down the best dragons I've ever had the pleasure of besting in a video game.

 

Thank you for taking risks, both with design and art.  Thank you for continuing to push and evolve the series in new directions.

 

I grew up with video games, I've witnessed where they've been and how far they've come.

Yet, I continue to be awed at the places you take us.

 

Thank you for continuing to make the games, that so few these days are willing to make.

I haven't left the Hinterlands yet, and already, this is easily the best game I've played in years. The companions, thus far, are the best written, and I only have Varric, Solas and Cassandra. There's so much to do and it's all presented very well.

I think Bioware has returned to the throne of the masters of RPG's... Just my opinion of course, but this game is still blowing my mind a few days after release which is not unheard of, but with me, for a game to still give me that feeling of wanting to hurry up and leave work to go home and lock myself in my room is worth its weight in gold. 

 

I have a lot of responsibility in real life and love it actually. I have a lot on my plate, so it's been a while since I had a game that just helped me get away like this into another world and totally capture me like this game has. 

 

I will be playing this one for quite a while yet. For that alone, kudos BioWare!

I will be playing this one for quite a while yet. For that alone, kudos BioWare!

 

I'm already thinking of doing a second play through and I'm 10 hours into the game.  Only time I've had a similar feeling was with Dragon Age: Origins.  

 

And Dishonored, but that game is basically perfect.

Thanks. I've posted a bit over in the tech support section, but I figured I'd spread the joy elsewhere.

 

The bit of the game I COULD play once I'd figured out how to bypass the main menu, and before the ground betrayed me was fun though, to add to the more positive topic. It ran well, and controls well with a gamepad (didn't even bother trying it with keyboard...apparently a fine choice on my part).

Different strokes for different folks, is all  We all like different games.  I am only 10 hours in and it's amazing for me.
