They should have packaged ME3 MP with Dragon Age: Inquisition

Half-Life 2 came with Counter-Strike, so this is not a totally ridiculous idea. DA:I MP just feels too different for me to really get invested in it. Fortunately the Single-Player campaign is one of the best games this year so I am really happy with the purchase but MP has not won me over yet.

but then the temptation to play ME3MP would be too much..

To my understanding DA:I uses the Frostbite Engine and that ME3 used an Unreal Engine.  If that is true, it would have required a lot of work to include ME3MP.

Yup.  Ever get the feeling that maybe they shouldn't have went with FROSTBITE?  Likley it was an EA mandate?

I'm sorry to say, I've yet to see anything yet in this game where FROSTBITE has wow'd me.  I'm a bit disappointed considering the size and diversity of FROSTBITE locales in BATTELFIELD3.

They should have remade ME3 MP in Frostbite Engine 3 and used it as the MP component of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Maybe once I complete the single-player campaign of DA:I I will feel differently but right now I just miss the fast paced and fluid gameplay of ME3 MP.

^ I have to say, the MP portion of this game is quite fun. All the kits seem to have a uniqueness as to how they can deploy their abilities.

I think you're missing out

Wasn't the Frostbite Engine internally developed?  If it was, then I am sure it was an EA mandate to use it over licensing a third party engine.

I've really enjoyed the DAMP so far.

Imagine my reply as every single facepalm image on the internet.
that is how I feel about your comment and my inability to find enough words to explain all the reasons you're wrong.

Me3 mp is really great and is one of the best games of all time.

Though having unlocked the katari, I find DA:I to be enjoyable. But it took far more time and resources than I would care to have spent. DA:I is really rough starting out with just the 3 basic classes and is not worth playing in that state unless you happen to like them somehow.

I was about to simply stop playing for good if a fun class hadn't been unlocked. And it does take a long time

Probably, the developers want to get people used to the idea of tanking, so that when they up the difficulty and add new content there will at least be the skillset and the mindset to carry the complexity of any new modes. And to try to get people to spend real money in the store to skip the boredom.

But it is a huge gamble - the game starts out boring and doesn't improve for a very long time. I think some analysts are banking on just taking the money and running, no need to develop and maintain a game

However, ME3 mp did start out with some design issues and class imbalances that stopped me playing for a year after initial release, even when the demo convinced me to play MP before SP at 12:00 am eve of
