Salutations!

 

After 6 hours of troubleshooting and two days of watching DAI's menu screen I'm a tad confused. Run with me here:

 

Signed into DA Keep with my only Origin account.

Created a new game state, made my changes and exported correctly. Sitting there with a nice green tick.

Access DAI on Xbox One, Log into origin account no problems, Go to start new game, no option for importing game state.

No error messages, no issues just no option for importing game state.

 

Troubleshooting & Questions I will most likely be asked:

 

Origin Account is linked to the same Xbox Live Account: Bannath

Origin account is verified.

Both Origin and XBL have the same email address.

Under Origin's "persona's" my Xbox persona IS listed, as well as my PC. Both have the correct gamertag.

I've opened all privacy settings on my Xbox.

I've changed internet connections to test.

I've reset the Xbox and logged in and out of my origin account countless times.

I've waited 24 hours just incase it's a server issue.

I've tried exporting multiple game states, both locked and unlocked.

 

I've scoured the internet for anyone having the same issue, I would love for this to be something so idiotic and simple but for the life of me I can't find anything. If anyone out there has any ideas, feel free to throw them at me. I would LOVE to start playing this game and I honestly don't think its worth it without my keep data.

Urgh, I should have thought of this yesterday. 

 

Since origin accounts seemed to be working I assumed it was network/server connection related even though it was connecting and had no issues. Since I tried a different internet connection I didnt think of resetting my Xbox's MAC address.

 

But, Reset its MAC address and cleared the cache and viola, I now have the option for importing data! Thought I'd reply for anyone like me out there who thinks they've tried everything.

 

Now I'm off to sink into my couch for 12 hours...

OH MY GOD that worked for me, too.

A guide for the un-tech-savvy like me so you don't have to Google it:

 

To change MAC address:

1. Open up settings in your Xbox (you can say, "XBox, go to settings")
2. Go to "Network"
3. Go to "Advanced Settings"
4. Go to "Alternate MAC address"
5. The console will restart

To clear cache, unplug the power cord from the back of your console. Wait two minutes. Then plug it back in and wait for the light on the power brick to go from orange to white back to orange.

 

Now try importing your DAK world state normally. It should work.
