Dragon Age Inquisition Custom Ultra with everything on max or Preset Ultra which is supposed to be optimised (not eveything at ultra)

Which does look better ? :) I'm experiencing some problems with custom ultra (min: 21, avg: 35-40 fps) on max but preset one doesnt hit fps that hard and looks the same.

Which setting do you prefer? :)

Try turn Anti aliasing completely off or to 2xMSAA, thats the biggest hitter

Post-AA has barely any performance impact. If you want a better framerate, reduce Tessalation, Shadows and change Post-Process Effects to high or medium.

true about post-aa but it also blurs image and reduces color quality so its no go for me (like fxaa, smaa etc)

Tbh when I played some games ive barely seen any difference with tesselation on or off. I'll play around with tesselation settings to improve my fps :D ty guys

Post-AA in Battlefield 4 looked very nice, almost like MSAA, and caused no blurriness. I assume DA:I uses the same filter. Can't say for sure, since I just bought the game and the download will take a few hours.
