I seem to recall them saying people who uploaded a character would get a special code for an in game ring. I'm really sorry if this has been asked and answered already, but whats the news with that?
So what happened to the lucky ring?

I don't think many have. They are probably working on it.

Some people have received their emails, others haven't. I haven't.
Not worried about it though, several weeks still to go before we could even use it. I'm sure Bioware will straighten things out.

I haven't received it, but apparently some others have. I'm more worried about finding it when I get it, because I have over 5000 unread emails. I should probably get to fixing that.

Picked up from another forums:
"IMPORTANT:
Regarding the promo item you get when uploading your character - or any DLC code you get such as other retailer items, The Stone Prisoner, etc - these are all tied to this new account, based on the email address and password used.
Make sure you are logging into the right account that you'd like that content associated with. In other words, if you had to create a new account to get in initially, just make sure that in the end you associate your current forum account from here, with the email address you want to have content associated with. And always use that email/pwd when you are redeeming codes or uploading characters.
With respect to the actual C.Creator item - this one is done in a way such that no code is even needed. Just log into the game with the same account you used in C.Creator (or Social) and the item will be there waiting for you in DA:O!"

Well considering it is a rather superficial item, it still good to know I will be receiving it nonetheless.

Wow, I didn't know that we were supposed to be getting a ring for uploading a character. Since I uploaded 11 characters, do I get 11 rings?
Seriously, thanks for the info!

I am curious as to how we will be logging in to our accounts from the consoles, though.

How will it be possible to get the "Lucky stone" ring to your Xbox360? I mean, your social account doesn't have to be the same as your Xbox-live account..so how does that work?
Like other EA games with online features on consoles - you can opt to link your Live/PSN account to an EA account. Once you do this the codes will work and enable those items for consoles.

What happens if you are using both the PC and the PS3 versions at the same time (different characters)...??

I never got an email but I did get the ring. All I remember doing is clicking the upload character button at the end of creating my character and then loading her up with the real game client and starting to play. A few minutes later I got a message saying my download had finished which made me curious so I stopped playing and went to check and sure enough it was the ring

Me three. Full character info uploaded here, but at same time, no ring code.
Also, for whatever reason my character portrait isn't selectable or showing--I see a placeholder for it in my profile but no picture. Playing on the PS3 Deluxe edition.
