Morrigan loved a woman, and had a child with her... apparently.

Okay, so throughout the game my world state has been proper.  Human Noble Female, married Alistair... It's all good.

SO, now I meet Morrigan.  She's talking about her son's father being the Hero of Ferelden.  She loves him... etc.  Obviously this is a bug, not to mention that my Warden STABBED her... so uh yeah loved "him" I think not!

Grey Warden stabbed Morrigan.

In a good way and lots of times.

Sorry, had to do this.

Yeah, a lot of people would but it's a bug nonetheless, and not something that I wanted with this playthrough. As I said, my Warden didn't love her, she tried to KILL HER.

Here is the Hero of Ferelden codex from my game (spoilered so as not to take up too much space), showing the bug is with Morrigan, not merely a case of me using the wrong world state by accident..

Spoiler

Ya, I just went back to an old save before I talked to Morrigan, hoping that will be enough that when they fix it (and they better fix it) will be retroactive enough that when I play again Morrigan will say the proper things.  I'm okay with not getting the "Contact the Hero of Ferelden" operation, because after all, I find it hard to beleive Morrigan will be all happy to get in contact with the woman who tried to kill her.

I hate that I can’t check the world state inside DAi.

How hard would it be for EA “Bioware” to put that in the game even if its just a browser plugin for the game.

I fixed my world states and exported them 3 weeks ago in DA keep. Still its totally wrong in the game. Just like I got the default world state. (where the Warden was a women and so on...)

I had played almost 20 hours of DAi before Leliana started to talk about the warden. “her” = I knew the world state was wrong.

I was having the same bug. But Morrigan would flit back and forth between properly referring to my Warden as female then to male and being in love and saying he(she?) was the father of her son... whose name now escapes me. I'll just dub him... Alistair Jr. Oh Morrigan is going to love that

So, it's just that one dialogue that is bugged then? That SORT of makes me feel better for this playthrough if it's only the dialogue that's screwy (but it's still something that needs to be fixed ASAP.  We didn't give up our imported saves for the Keep in order for it to be broken)... although again, considering that Olivia Cousland stabbed Morrigan, I find it odd that she knows just where to find her and is all happy to get back in contact.  I'm avoiding talking to her for a bit, hopefully a patch to fix it will come SOON and it will be able to work with current games fix it soon, and either way my next playthrough she'll properly acknowledge Loghain LOL.

Morrigan is an asari. This is indeed a disturbing universe.

She shapeshifting should make that possible, really. If she can alter her bone structure, DNA, hairgrowth, physical size. Surely she should also be able to "shapeshift" some male genitalia.

I've noticed some bugs with Keep decisions.

Like for instance, my Hawke was a male warrior and Carver apparently is alive.

I think it's more of the game bugging rather than the Keep.

I had Varric bantering about Sebastian, even while Sebastian had never been recruited and I don't have a DLC.

I'm trying not to think of what other variables might get screwed...

This is why I'm not going to bother doing the whole save transfer / Dragon Keep thing.

Start DA:I with a clean slate.

Okay, I assume you are joking, but in case you are not... No, I am not saying that. I am saying that Morrigan is saying that my female Hero of Ferelden that STABBED HER is her lover and the father of her child.  That's a problem.

Well, it's not about whether you have the DLC or not, it's about what it said in the Keep World State you exported to DAI.  Sebastian is recruited in the starting world state so unless you specifically changed it that you didn't recruit him, then you might have a problem.

Okay, so the Keep is supposedly looking into it.  They're telling me that when it is fixed (no ETA of course) I will need to start over completely.

well yeah, I DID change the tile, ofcourse.  it says 'never recruited'. I just hope that nothing major is affected, really. Like Cousland queen becoming a Father or Hawke killing Anders...
