I kinda figured we wouldn't be able to romance varric at all, but it kind of sadden me that there are still no dwarfs that we can romance. I like playing as a dwarf, but I don't really want to romance anyone as a dwarf (Though I think I'm starting to make an exception for Cassandra.) So I ask bioware, what gives? We can romance as a dwarf but can't romance a dwarf? You could even race lock the dwarf to other dwarfs. Not like you haven't race locked two others.
Still no dwarf to romance?

Yeah she actually has a big fanbase, Harding is really cute and a loyal scout to the Inquisition, I would love to romance her.

And she's voiced by Ali Hillis (Liara T'Soni) so that ups her lovable scale quite a bit.
I'm in the same boat. Dwarves are my favorite race in Dragon Age. I'm just happy we can actually play as one again.

I'm not clamoring for it, but I do think it's strange that they didn't. I guess they figured most people wouldn't but they look more human than DA:2's elves. Maybe it's because the height difference means they'd have to actually make separate animations lol.

Um, you can romance Harding. I got the flirt option as a female human last night. Usually if you get that option you can carry through with it.

Not true. You can flirt with Vivienne and you cannot romance her. You can even flirt with Cullen but he will shut you down unless you are a female elf/human. (same for other gender/race gated companions)
Plus all the romance options were confirmed by David Gaider before launch.

I knew Ali Hillis voiced someone in Inquisition, I didn't know who, but yesterday when I met Scout Harding I was thinking she had something familiar (I've played ME to death practically), and that's why, Liara

I REALLY wanted to romance Scout Harding; she's awesome. In fact, she's the only female character that I find appealing enough to romance. So yeah, I'm also disappointed.

You could flirt with Teagan in DA:O and nothing ever came of it. Sometimes they let you just be flirty for fun.
