My point is, that I have FPS drops too but, they aren't affecting gameplay, not causing lag death or keeping me from doing quests or interacting or anything. Sure it'd be great if they never happened but, unless they really are game breaking, they are going to be a low priority for Bioware to fix and, why let some numbers that you choose to place on your screen ruin the game entirely for you - anyone?
I've seen to many get hing up on % of CPU or GPU used, RAM used (assuming it isn't going astronomically high, indicating a severe memory leak) FPS etc.. and yet a video of one hour of game play might show one or two moments of 1-3 second lag in a very busy part of the game. Annoying but not game breaking.
My definition of game breaking : cannot progress due to crash, stall, refusal to load, character, object or location missing after you have taken all possible steps to correct the problem, repeated lag death, can NEVER walk because it takes 30 seconds to take one single step, cannot interact because audio sounds like "aaayeee.......ooooaaaam...nnnnnnnot.....theeeeee....hheeeeeerrrralddddd." and that takes a full minute or longer to play. Now that would be game breaking stuff.
Anymore people too often cry "game breaking" when in fact it is not, it is a case of they do not want to try to correct it, are not willing to work around it or, ignore it when it has little to no effect on actual game play. A bit like someone screaming they broke their foot and must go to the hospital when all they did was stub their toe. (Yes I know people like that.) You know, "OMG, it's a blizzard" when really there was sleet for 5 minutes on a 60 degree day.
I don't like that some armors do not show on my Qunari, I would like longer hair for my Inquisitor, I wish Poulan could not be judged too soon, I wish you didn't have to talk to all trainers to avoid stuck quest markers in Skyhold.... and my list goes on but, those aren't game breaking. I also wish I could hold 60+ FPS non stop, I run dual Titans but, that isn't happening either and, it's still not game breaking, the game plays fine save a few spell lags here and there where it does drop to 6-10 FPS for a second or two. Okay annoying but not game breaking.
