I'm getting major pop-in with mountains, trees and certain shadows just appearing out of nowhere, if anyone knows how to resolve this issue that would be great.
Had this issue since patch 2. (Worked fine before)

Delete the Multiplayer_DLC1 folder from the Update folder and then redownload the first MP expansion from Origin.
^ We should NOT need to do this manually.. What are you doing EAWare? Repair option seem to only work for base game, so if there is a update for any DLC it will not work as intended and we should always delete them manually and redownload.. Wow that's just insane if you ask me..
Plus download speed in Origin is a real joke, I'm downloading 300mb file in 1hr or so with my 20mb internet speed.. ![]()
I was able to repair/update a DLC for Inquisition.
It's in the list (same as for purchasing). Rt-click on it. The options are there.
will they fix the pc gameplay issues or not? if not i will uninstall the game. can someone inform me?
Could you guys give any insight or help on the problem me and many other people are having since day one, which over half a year later hasn't even been acknowledged by EA. It's random crashes to desktop without an error message, one minute you're playing the next you're staring at your desktop wallpaper. I've had it crash during combat, whe in conversation, just standing around and even on loading screens. Here's the link to the thread in the EA forum http://answers.ea.co...or/td-p/4046654
As I said it's been over half a year and I would really like to start playing this game ever since I bought it on day one. Please help.
How come no one has posted any troubleshooting and workarounds for old-gen consoles?
There aren't any. ![]()
Everytime game is restarted:
-"Scorecard (MP)" action resets to default 'V'.
-Any action assigned to 'Mouse Button 4', resets to default.
For example, lets take a look at "Search" (scan area) action.
-Rebind "Search" to 'Mouse Button 4', works fine.
-Restart the game.
-In option it says Search = 'V' key (default)
-Ingame Search may work by either pressing 'V' or 'Mouse Button 4' and therefore potentially breaking any other action that you bound to 'V' key previously.
NOTE: I already tried reseting keys to default and deleting ProfileOptions and ProfileOptions_profile files.
Another bug:
If you use respec amulet, everytime you load the game you can hear "the respec sound". Playthrough started on patch 5.
Feature request:
Open map and center screen over objective location if you press "map" key after selecting (highlighting) the objective in journal.
Hello!
After the release of the latest patch (July 6), I've started a new game and faced a bug - Inquisition flag banners don't appear on the landmark poles, quarry poles. Playing on PC. Reinstalling or repairing the game didn't work. What else can be done?
They don't appear until you've captured a fort (usually Crestwood is the first one). Since it's a new game, have you done that yet?

After a lot of mucking around and enduring many crashes ... maybe, just maybe, I found something that worked for me ... possibly others ... who are using AMD GPUs.
My game crashes many times on initial loading or during transitions. I define transitions as moving from gameplay to cut scene, cut scene to game play, going through a door or any other kind of entrance that results in a new map loading, traveling from one location to another on the world map or moving from cut scene to cut scene.
Yesterday, I got a notice from my AMD software that an update was available ... a new CCC and driver *15.7 without dotnet45* ... which was a change. To date, all my downloads have been *with dotnet45* ... to include the various beta drivers recommended to fix some other AMD driver issues with DAI. I had just installed the latest drivers (15.7) a few days prior, so I was curious what might get updated ... sometimes you see an update to CCC but not to the driver. Well, the driver was also updated.
I didn't expect to see a difference in performance ... but started up the game. It loaded more slowly than normal, but still, it loaded. I played. For a long time. Finished up a play through that was near the end, survived many transitions. Then picked up another play through that I had ... again, it survived many transitions with no CTD. I went to options and set the graphics to automatic versus a "dumbed down" selection. Played a bunch, went back to Skyhold, did a bit of mucking around, saved and exited the game. No CTD. This was a first.
Prior to this, I didn't get in to MP because the game was too unstable for me to trust in the MP environment. Now, for the first time, I can seriously consider playing MP. I want to give it a few more days of gameplay, before trying out MP ... just to make sure I didn't have an unusual night, with no CTD ... but if the next few days are pretty much crash-free ... woohoo.
