Yes i know its their game but hear me out

Give us back healers and healibg potion spamming. So what if it makes it too easy. It was there before and i didnt complain. Healers are in the lore. Stop holding our hands. Im playing to have fun

Specializations and weapon choices. Gice us back what we had in dao. Let my eartior use a bow and let my mage spcialize in 2 things etc. the original recipe worked. I never said wow i cant stand having my mage with 2 specializations or my dwarf rogue with a sword and shield.treat your franchise like an iphone. Tou give me a better screen and more freedom but you took away my favorites apps. Please dont let me be the old guy "back in my day my mage could do abcd but now she does ahky?

Give me back my dog. Dog was great in dao and da2. Da2 you improved it . Bring it back

Stop steamlining . That what the auto choice button is for

I have this game on 360 and im patient. Im not giving up on you. Im saving for a ps4

I don 't want Healing potion spamming, I don't even NEED to have healing spells that i can spam. This is a single player/CO-OP game, stop trying to balance like some kind of MMO or Competitive shooter..

Want to force players to prepare? That's not what the current system does, it forces us to fast travel back to camp more often than we ought to, and/or to wipe in MP because it took a little too long for someone to react to a pair of Wraiths up the stairs.. Because apparently carrying more than 2 healing potions isn't tactically sound, even though its your only legitimate way to restore your health..

Here, let me fix healing spells for you(In a couple of different ways, no less!), since you guys couldn't seem to figure them out:

Heal:

Pay an upkeep, lowering your Mages maximum mana by X%, this, as well as being in combat are required for it to cool down. You could even go so far as to give it diminishing returns so that repeatedly casting it on the same target within a certain timerame yields lesser results.

Could have probably just gone with diminishing returns and combat only cool down and been golden.

Restorative Barrier:

Target an area; all allies in the area will lose their barrier. the energy gathered will then be divided evenly among all target in the area as healing.

The least attractive options, but at least it adds some tactical game play if it were to, for example, ALSO dispel enemy barriers and add it to the healing pool (It would heal the enemy too, but sometimes it might be worth it)

Energy Well:

As you expend mana to damage, debuff or control enemies, energy is stored away within the "Energy Well". This energy can be expended to heal a target ally.

These suggestions shouldn't have been needed, healing shouldn't have been removed. DA2 should have taught you, BioWare, that people didn't want Mass Effect with Swords. You had a winning design with DA:O and you've repeatedly pooped on it.

Take out class weapon/armor restrictions and go back to stat requirements, it was better and made more sense.

Take out all of the ridiculous knock back that seems to be so prevalent.

Fix the search ring so that anything highlighted STAYS highlighted and appears on your mini-map until you get a certain distance away from it.

Bring back DA:O tactical style programming. Companion AI is terrible.

And for gods sake, take the waves of sonic energy off the Warriors charge animation, its so cheesy.

Or what?

This doesn't help anything, the game is flawed and just about every part of their redesign was based on a flawed idea. Nobody is making any threats, we obviously already bought the game, we just want them to restore the options we used to have instead of constantly forcing the game to DEVOLVE to fit their new, constantly more limited vision for it.

In the beginning I was using quite abit of potion to heal up. Now? ....... not as much.

What changed my mind was instead of focusing on trying to get from point A to point B as fast as possible, I stopped to take a look around and explore the options in game. Weapons, weapon types, armor types, harvesting everything I see and most importantly ??? ......................... the using the Tactile view and scoping out an area before engaging the boss fight.

Most if not all games created today "minus Darksouls & Demonsouls"  is nothing but grab a gun/weapon and start spam shooting like a Rambo to speed rush to the next chapter.

I am really enjoying the DA:Inquisition now that I am using these features.  The battles are even more intense now AND my team does not really even need potions. Current level when I started to use the "targeting/pause" was around level 6 or 7.  Doing this changed everything and to me brought the battle encounters to life!

My favorite so far was in the undead swamp against the barbarian chief and his incredible hulk dude w/archers. The battle, the positioning tactics in that small room was perfect!  I really enjoyed that I really did!   and to top it off?   Skywatcher ...... in the door way and the interaction cut scene was absolutely epic!  So bad azz awesome!

also the comments your soliders tell you when you set them free.

Thankyou Bioware!  I'm really enjoying this game, I really am.

Exploration is key and turning over every rock for information helps greatly,  there is really no need to spam health potions. Honestly there really isn't.

I agree with the OP about the dog - I do miss Barkspawn. But I could not disagree more about the healing situation. Heal spam is boring. I love the new system. I like that potions and heals are a precious resource, and that characters are responsible for mitigating their own damage.

It would probably be fine if my companions AI wasn't so ridiculously stupid. Let me program them myself in a way akin to DA:O and I'd be less upset about the rest of the systems.. maybe..

I get that it works but couldnt it also work the other way. Why cant i fill up my inventory with healing potions. Revive i have to walk over to other side of battle. Wheres wynne when i need her
Same goes with bows for warriors. I need to kill the animal for a quest but i dont have that option? Instead its mortal combat?

Fit the dog in (as a gift) or maybe a wagon gets attacked and the dog was being transported

Bring back blood magic in dlc. Bring in penalties for using it. It can fit if creative enough. Same with spirit warrior/arcane warrior. Bring back shapeshifters and animal summons. Dao and awakening had druids

I actually like it. I barely use any potion anymore, and warriors are forced to proactively use shielding technique rather than just charge in to attack and have the mage continuously heal them.

I dont like this new system at all. I hardly ever use a healer in any rpg I play ,opting for healing potions as an alternative. But this 8 potion limit is bullshit. It totally breaks the flow of my adventuring to have to go back and forth to camp to replenish. This does not make the combat any more challenging, just damn tedious.

Dragon Age trying so hard to be hardcore its sad.

That’s awesome! So when healing is added you can just go ahead and RP it doesn’t exist. That way everybody gets what they want.
