The characters and the way the interact with each other ( usually during cutscenes ) and with you is amazing .
Even the romance ( i only romanced cassandra so far ) isnt your usual bang bang bang done .........Spoiler ahead , Cassandra said she didnt just want to get into a thing with me she wanted to be courted ,told me she likes flowers and poetry etc.. so you get a quest in which you have to go val rayeux to get some candles and flowers , for the book however you go to redcliff and find out that the merchant there had his stuff ambushed, Needless to say you go after the guys that did it , get the book , head back to skyhold invite Cass somewhere private , surprise her with lit candles, start reading poetry to her then the magic happens as she is reading along with you.
you can just tell the devs really put a lot of thought behind the characters even more so than they did in the previous 2 , as usual well done Bioware.
