So, I kind of love the design for the armor you wear during the prologue. (At least for rogues, don't know what the others look like, or if they're all the same) Anyway, I can't find schematics for this armor (Mercenary Coat) anywhere.

I've actually been playing the game so far (I'm doing the Hawke mission now) wearing it; just because I love the look. Since I'm an archer and use stealth a lot, I haven't gotten hit too often, so there was no real need to up the armor class.

However, I really would like to craft a new version of the coat soon. Anyone know where I can find this schematic?

Is the schematic for the Mercenary coat actually available in the game? I've yet to find it, if it is. Which is a pain in the ass. It's one of the few armours which actually looks okay on a Qunari female Warrior.

I don't think there is. There are two ways you can get the mercenary coat -- at the prologue and when you go "undercover" with Iron Bull to talk to two soldiers in Skyhold. You can use the tint table to change the colors, but the stats will never get better unfortunately. There is a medium armor only version of it that drops, but I don't know the name of it. It's blue though and a random world drop. No schematics to my knowledge.

There is an Elite version of the Mercenery coat found in a chest at the Western Approach. The chest is located in a cave by the river where you find the Codex with the quote from Origins about the ladder. No schematics though as far as I know.
