Inquisition arrived today! Now normally I'd be jumping for joy, but when I found another package with another copy of the game, I was befuddled at this and so I had a question. Has anyone else ordered one copy of the deluxe edition from Amazon and gotten two?

I checked Amazon, and the order details showed that I only ordered one copy, and yet they send me two. What I'd like to know is if this is something that you get with deluxe edition on xbox one, or if Amazon is just trolling me. Please help, I need to know if they are about to ram my bank account or not.

Just call them and tell them they accidentally shipped you 2 and you'd like to return one.

I preordered from them, too. Just got the one PC copy. You might just give them a call and let them know what happened, and find out what they want you to do with it.

I can't remember where I read this but I seem to recall that amazon was offering a free deluxe edition to those who didn't receive it on time due to huge delays.

the thing is you have to contact them so you can return it. by law even though it was there mistake it is still technically theft if you keep it.

your the opposite of me...I ordered the inquisitors edition [cost me  £129] which includes deluxe edition and they had sent me the normal edition!!...ive been onto gamestop today asking them to send me the deluxe version out.or send me the codes  by email....im still waiting to hear back from them...not sure if I will though... what a screw up its been?  some people ordering normal and getting deluxe   or like OP some people getting 2 copies  or people like me trusting in gamestop and getting the collection with the wrong version in it!!

ive even got another inquisitors special code but it wont download without the deluxe codes in...

 

if anyone has a spare copy going as a giveaway  id really appreciate it. but knowing my luck with this game so far  that's not going to happen....lol

As a loyal Amazon member, the right thing to do here is to sell it on ebay and pocket the money.

Sounds like a logistics issue (coming from someone who works in logistics). At least contact Amazon. There is a good chance they don't require you to return it, or will send you a prepaid label to do so. Good karma and all that.

Sell it. Seems to be the best option. Buy Pokemon next week. Or Far Cry 4.
