DLC can be installed later.  If the unlock is available, I say go for it.  I'm still waiting for confirmation on whether US customers can unlock.

Actualy, hillarious is not the word that came to my mind in this respect ... was something much more rude.

Steam, that is Valve, will keep to contract and their software works, so us EU customers get to wait until 29th. It just raises a question why they had to delay EU release 3 days in the first place?

If you have the codes you can unlock everything now. The dlc and bonus features won't be available until it launches tomorrow however.

My copy did not pass the activation check, so no luck for me:( Oh well only 26 more hours! I can only imagine the server demand tomorrow at 10am lolz

I'm pre-loading the Digital Deluxe edition from the EA store now. The date to the right of the download bar does say today, so if that's true I'll be a very happy guy - even if I'll have to wait for the DLC. Beats waiting until Friday here in Europe .

Edit: My purchase confirmation email contains the codes for the Digital Deluxe version DLC, so I'm assuming that if the game does indeed unlock, the DLC will be available right away as well. That download just can't finish quickly enough - good thing I'm getting a decent 2+ MB/s, so there's only around 70 minutes to go.
If it turns out that the game won't actually unlock until Friday I think I might just scream now that I've gotten my hopes up :happy:.

Mines EA digital as well, though i think my side will be earlier since i ordered mine from EA singapore and its almost 26th jan now...another 14mins to midnight.

I believe the date you are speaking of is the date that it was added to your downloader. Mine says the 22nd lol;)

Weird, I didn't get DLC codes in the order confirmation e-mail, just the game cd-key itself. EA Store DDE like others here.

I can get both of those screens as well, but it does not mean that I can play the game because when you hit play it goes to a time activation check and will not work past that.  Only the DDE bonus movies and comic are available as of now...for most of us that is:P

I have the DDE version. All my codes were emailed to me.
