DDE from EA Store here (Finland/Europe). Got the ME2 key and DLC codes 4.5 hours ago, downloaded & installed the game already but no luck with activation. DLC activated just fine on the website though. I wonder what the exact date/time for unlock is though, since it is literally not mentioned anywhere. Not in the e-mails I received, not in EA Store site (actually the site indicates that the game is available NOW, which it is not), not in the unlock program and not in DLM.

yes mines the digital version of ME2, i bought the standard edition though not CE(low on cash :3). I got the emails from EA on pre-load day ...the cerberus and inferno armor codes came in first..then after that the ME2 code itself.

Strange because I got the DDE and none of my emails have codes with them...Only the ME2 code appears in the order page and the cerberus and armour codes are empty.  Can anyone who ordered the DDE confirm the codes are supposed to appear?

I ordered the DDE version as well from the finnish EA Store, my mail only had the game code and the section that was supposed to have cerberus & bonus codes were both blank. Not to mention the download manager doesn't even let me log to my own account to start the download.

However, some other people I talked with had received both codes, some had only cerberus & bonus codes and no actual game code. So I'm a little worried that EA has managed to screw up yet more things with the digital download.

And thats why i only use steam for Digital purchases.

I don't really care as everything worked out for me. Normally i'd use steam and I'll continue to do so in the future. I won't be this lucky a second time.

Meh well i wish i could help but i'm from a different country so different EA i guess. Games already playable for me though i think i'll wait for cerberus network to be fully up first and dl the new contents before i start the game. I think it should be available once it officially releases for the US.

Well, Game's running fine...FYI, Aus and EU can run the release date authentication/check successfully...As of the rest of the world, Well, Sucks to be you...This is one of those rare times that I'm glad I live in the most isolated, But habitable, Places in the world!!



By the way, I've figured out the early unlock situation...At least as far as Aus is concerned...When I ran the release date check, It was just before 10:50pm (GMT +8:00)...Near as I can tell, The release date check contacted a server in the eastern states of australia, Making it past midnight on the 26th (GMT +10:00)



Cheers to Bioware for their creative magnificence and cheers to EA for recognising that Australia does, Indeed, Exist, Separate to the rest of the world lol!

I ordered the DDE from the UK EA Store. At 12 GMT today it popped up on the EA downloader and I found three emails with the different game/dlc/network codes. Just waiting for the online activation to work. So with any luck it will update at midnight here like some of the Aus guys are finding.

I didn't get any emails or popups in the EADM, Informing me that it's ready to be unlocked....I took a giant gamble and ran the check...Guess it was just my lucky day!

Just finished downloading and installing, but here in Denmark it doesn't pass the activation check, so beastly_divizion, you unfortunately aren't correct with your general "FYI, Aus and EU can run the release date authentication/check successfully" statement.



I'm hoping the activation servers are all set to accept the 26th as the activation date though, at least then it should be possible to play tonight or tomorrow (depending on server time zones) rather than having wait till Friday here in Europe.

I am trying it from france and I ordered the DDE. I just received the codes for CN and DLC but there is no game download option from EA store. Anybody else from France who might have received game download option.

you've got to sign into the EA Download Manager using the email address and password you used when you pre-ordered, Then download through there...Once the download is complete, Click install and the download manager will automatically inject the code.

Well, it doesn't really make much of a difference when you can't actually play the game anyway after installing it .

Has anyone with the EA digital version, besides beastly_divizion, managed to get past the activation check?



I'm still hoping the 26th (3 hours and 40 minutes away here) will serve as the world wide activation date, but I'm frankly not holding my breath anymore.

If they use local activation servers (and they almost certainly do, given that beastly_divizion has been able to activate his game in a GMT+10 time zone) I wouldn't be surprised if the game won't be playable here in the EU until the official release date, the 29th - although I definitely hope I'm wrong.

bought the digital deluxe edition through impulse and my release date check doesn't clear (I'm in Canada).



I was hoping with the game being available through torrents for a couple days that they would unlock it earlier, oh well.

My codes for the Digital Deluxe version were included in the order confirmation email from the EA store (and I have successfully redeemed them on this site).
That wasn't the case with DA:O if I recall correctly, where the codes arrived later in a separate email (but then that game also didn't unlock for installation until the official release date).

Downloaded it from EAStore and Installed it today.
Clicking Play and then it tells me "Neener neener! You can't play yet!"

Yeah I'm another EA store DDE owner. Kinda concerned that i haven't recieved any cerberus or bonus codes =/ we'll have to see what EA says, cuz i submitted a ticket about it.

Seems like it is the exact same story as when Dragon Age was released. Personally I didn't get my bonus codes for that. And my ME2 mail also does not have the bonus codes. It's a bloody joke!

Maybe this time they will figure out they need to handle this better. But so far it seems they haven't learned anything from last time it happened.
